We had a wonderful dining experience here. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The sushi and hot dishes were full of flavour, and the service was warm and attentive throughout the night. We also really appreciated having a private room, which made the experience feel even more special and comfortable for our family gathering. Great atmosphere, excellent customer service, and authentic Japanese food. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back again!
Still the best Japanese restaurant in Sydney at Lidcombe more than 10 years now! We visited Tanomi for a long time for lunch & dinner to enjoy the best Japanese cuisine & Tanomi’s special dishes. Every dish is very well prepared, delicious & good value. The restaurant environment is relaxing & the service from Team Tanomi is great.
Came here for dinner and honestly, this place is a bit of a hidden gem. The food was fresh, well-presented, and full of flavour. You can tell they don’t cut corners — especially with the sashimi, which tasted super fresh. A lot of people mention the same thing about their freshness and consistency, and I can see why. Service was friendly and relaxed, and the whole vibe of the place is cozy and low-key, not too loud or hectic — just easy to sit down and enjoy your meal. Price-wise, it’s actually pretty reasonable for the quality you get, so it doesn’t feel like you’re overpaying either. Overall, it’s one of those spots you’d come back to again without thinking twice. Definitely worth checking out if you’re around the area. Would I come back? 100% yes.
This is one of my favorite restaurants. The California rolls and pork katsu are consistently excellent, and my husband always enjoys the spicy hot pot. It is one of the few places in the area sophisticated enough to host VIP guests, yet the prices remain relatively reasonable. Highly recommended for both casual meals and special occasions.
What a gem that i ate at. It has a very chill and friendly vibe and atmosphere. The food is delicious but i found it a little bit pricey. Serving is big. Was full afterwards. Overall had a solid time and experience here.
