Chicken Katsu ($22.50) has a generous serving of 3 cutlets which is very crispy but the meat was slightly dry and the sauce is slightly salty. It came with rice, salad and miso soup. Tonkotsu Ramen ($19.50) has chewy ramen noodles with lots of ingredients. Ordering is through an ipad but there's also hard copy menu available.
Stepping into Tatsuya West Ryde was a fantastic decision, and I'm so glad I did! The entire experience, from start to finish, was a delight. First off, the food was truly amazing. Every dish we ordered was incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor. The portions were generous, which is a welcome sight, especially considering how affordable everything was. It's so rare to find a place that delivers such high quality and quantity at a price that doesn't break the bank in this economy. What made the experience even better was how efficient and easy the service was. They have an iPad menu on the table, and ordering was a breeze. We simply tapped what we wanted, and our food came out to us in a flash. There was no waiting around, and it made for a really quick and enjoyable meal. I can't recommend this place enough for anyone looking for delicious, fresh, and affordable Japanese food with fast and easy service. And for those wondering, I can happily confirm that their menu is completely rat-free!
A few days ago, I had dinner with some friends for the first time in a while, and we ended up trying Tatsuya, which was recommended by a friend. It was so good that I had to leave a review! The sushi was incredibly fresh, and every dish we ordered was delicious. The staff were also warm and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. We had a wonderful time together.
The fish was cooked well and the portion was decent. However the teriyaki sauce was a bit too salty for my taste, everything else was fine and the meal was still enjoyable overall. I’d recommend this place❤️🩹
Hidden gem, food is great and the portion sizes are huge. Great for hungry kids, though found it quite pricey per dish. Quiet atmosphere, service was nice and team are attentive.
