I have been coming to this restaurant for years but never wrote a review. I think it's time to give them a thumbs up for their freshly prepared hearty home-style Japanese cooking. Delicious food, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

A great Japanese place in Balmain. Recommended by a friend and the food and service were outstanding. Especially loved the crab dim sim and tataki beef. Very tasty and generous serves Definitely want to come back here

We had dinner at Teriyaki Boy Balmain after a long walk. The staff was friendly and helped to accommodate the pram. The service was great. The place was quiet and we liked that. We had miso soup, chicken skewers, sushi rolls, king fish misobata, and some dessert (fried banana and red beans spring rolls). Everything was delicious, although the king fish was slightly overcooked for my taste. My toddler loved the miso soup and the chicken. We will be back.

Healthy authentic Japanese food in a very quaint little restaurant. You feel as though you are eating in someone’s home! Lots of dishes to try and more choices are available on the board when you walk in. It does get very busy though due to its popularity so booking is essential. There are also 2 tables outside which come in handy for people dining with their dog.

Freshly made sashimi with fresh fresh fresh fish. Chicken skwer was so tender and tasty. Authentic wasabi that is neither too wasabiy nor lack of a bite. Cozy environment with friendly staff. The place is run by real Japanese crew. Very good experience and definitely an attraction.
