The food was good. We had the Toru family set. The service, at the beginning, not so good. The table was wiped but not dry, it felt like I was in a food court. The call button on the table didn't seem to work as I pressed it 3 times in 10 minutes with no response. I had to call over the server to request some water. Ordering was easy with their online menu, it was great I could pay at the counter afterwards.

I visit this place often. Service is just average, but the food is an incredible value for money. Highly recommended especially the Chicken katsu curry don it's a must try

The portion size here is quite good for the price — around $25 for a bento set. The tempura (prawn and vegetables) didn’t taste like the supermarket-style fried items; it was freshly made and nicely done. I also tried the pork katsu — the meat had a bit of fat which made it quite tasty, though the colour was a little darker than expected. Service from the staff was friendly, and the interior décor is decent. The only downside was that the restaurant had a lingering unpleasant smell inside, which took away slightly from the dining experience. Overall, good value and enjoyable food, but hopefully they can improve the atmosphere.

Nice and newish Japanese restaurant at Hornsby. It kind of looks like the sort of "fast eats" restaurant you'd find in a large Japanese train station. Food was of a high standard, service was also friendly. Can you please put the air conditioner on as it was like a sauna inside! Will definitely come back again.

Another great place that serves delicious food in Hornsby! We've ordered karaage chicken don, tempura udon and mixed sashimi. The portion was generous for the price. Sashimi was fresh and the karaage chicken was fried perfectly as it was still warm when they serve the food.
