Absolutely amazing experience at Washoku Mosman! I tried the pork gyoza and the poke bowl with sake salmon, and it was hands down the best poke bowl I’ve ever had. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, the flavours were perfectly balanced, and every bite was delicious. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a great place to dine. On top of that, the service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and efficient. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

DELICIOUS. my family and i adore this restaurant. usually go to the one in rosebay, however went to the one in mosman and was not disappointed. very busy, we sat outside and while it was chilly they had thick blankets and were very hospitable. food is authentic and made well recommend the Agassi tofu

Food was average. Felt like they were just trying to get rid of use the whole time. When we booked, we were constantly reminded to be out of the restaurant after the 90 minute period. Food came completely disjointed. Drinks came after first course was served. I really wanted to like it, but it was really unimpressive. Aside from the food, the service wasn’t great either. Every time a server walked past our table they knocked my jacket off my chair and didn’t help picking it up. Would’ve loved to have given it a good review, but honestly can’t.

I was pleasantly surprised by Washoku. The salmon and tuna nigiri were fresh, and the katsu bowl was a fun, satisfying mix of flavours. The ambience was lively but still quiet enough for pleasant conversation, and the restaurant itself is a cosy spot in a convenient location, right in the heart of Mosman. Definitely planning to come back.

Very disappointing experience at Washoku Mosman. We were refused a table because we had a pram, despite two empty 4-person tables that could have easily accommodated us. Our pram sits neatly next to the table and takes no more space than a chair, yet there was zero flexibility. The staff member’s attitude was cold—no smile, just a stare—and unwelcoming. We declined outdoor seating due to a previous visit where flies were excessive and constantly around the food. Most concerning was seeing the chef take out the garbage and not wash their hands afterwards—raising serious hygiene concerns. Overall, poor service and unacceptable standards.
