I often visit this place. As always, the dishes are clean and delicious. While I like ordering food via QR code, I got tired of waiting and trying to catch someone's eye just to ask for extra cutlets. They also only served water at the beginning and didn't refill it later. (In the past, they used to refill the water and come by to check if we needed anything.) Since all the staff looked new, it made me wonder if there is a new management.
Poor people dont go in coz the price is high while the portion is small! This place is for loaded people to dine in! Food was amazingly delucious and seats are comfortable ! They employ Japanese to work there! While most of the Jp restaurants in Syd employ Thai or Korean! Waiting for food is a bit long!
Very tasty food and a great service. The food quality is wonderful. It is one of the best Japanese restaurants in Sydney. I highly recommend it.
Food and service very average, which is unacceptable considering the price point. Venue also nothing special at all. I suspect people just go there because of established brand reputation. Many, many much better Japanese options in the Chatswood area.
As a regular weekend customer, I was disappointed with the quality and price of your meals tonight - a Tuesday evening. We regularly order the pork loin katsu (2 orders tonight) along with the unagi hitsumabushi (1 order) set meal. Food wise - the pork loin katsu was very oily on the outside and the meat was very dry on the inside. It felt like a low quality product. Do you have a different chef on weekdays? Price wise - you have increased your prices by 20% to over $25 for the pork katsu. 20% inflation is way more than the 3% general inflation across the industry. And you add on a surcharge on weekends. You will be losing customers at this inflation rate. The combination for both higher pricing and lower quality food made it a poor experience. When I mentioned this to the cashier and waiter, they informed me that the manager was not around so nothing could be done. I don't think it is right to charge full price for a disappointing meal quality. This is not the Yayoi food quality that we know.
