I went today with my friend. The two of us ordered 2 sets menu. The portion and the price were reasonable. The food were freshly made and the miso soup of the set were steaming hot which I preferred . The staff were friendly and attentive. The place was clean and spacious. Definitely will visit again.

As usual the food was great, service was excellent. The overall atmosphere felt like I was in a part done renovation as the normal ordering terminals had been part removed and table tops a little sticky. The big negative was the QR code order system which asks for contact details that yayoi has no need to know, and no information about how they will be used. You cannot proceed with order without selling your soul and details. We then went up and did our order at service desk. Here's some advice yayoi - get rid of it or make it so you can order and pay without invading a person's privacy. Otherwise you will lose customers. Despite the delicious food I won't be back in to eat it until you fix or get rid of the invasive QR system.

This was my first time visiting this Japanese restaurant, and honestly it didn’t leave a good impression. For my family and me, the portion sizes were quite small, while the prices were relatively high compared to similar places. In terms of food quality, for those who genuinely enjoy good food, I wouldn’t really recommend this place. The dishes were more about presentation than taste, and the portions were not satisfying. The only positive point was the space and interior, which were fine and pleasant, but nothing particularly memorable. Overall, it’s not worth the price, not a place I would return to, and not suitable for food lovers or anyone looking for good value and a filling Japanese meal.

Good Japanese food as you expect from the Yayoi name. Very friendly staff who greet you with a smile. Comfortable booth seating which is great to have private conversation over lunch. Recommend for anyone visiting market city or paddies market. It is upstairs on the highest level called dining precinct.

Try their special lunch menu $19.90 Karage set . Perfect size for hungry tummy. Plus they give you additional. Green tea. The waiters are super friendly. Love the atmosphere .,good for meeting up with friends for lunch. And easy order menu you can use .
