Avoid at all costs! not worth it even with a discount. I've been to plenty of Korean BBQ restaurants across Sydney, and this is by far the worst experience I've had. The $22 garlic soy chicken arrived as five tiny boneless pieces on a side dish plate — barely a snack. The $25 seafood pancake was even more insulting: a thin, flour-heavy slice with four pieces of shallot and two freezer prawns. That's it. I only tried this place because of a discount app deal, but even heavily discounted it wasn't worth it. When I raised my concerns with the waitress, who turned out to be the owner, she told me that was "standard portion" for Korean fried chicken. Absolutely not. Save your money and go literally anywhere else.
The service here was genuinely great. Staff were attentive, friendly, and quick to help throughout the meal, which made the overall experience pleasant and welcoming. Unfortunately, the food did not quite live up to the prices being charged. While everything was presented well, the quality and flavour felt fairly average compared to other Korean BBQ places, especially considering the cost. The meats were decent but nothing particularly memorable, and overall it didn’t feel like good value for money. It is a nice venue with excellent service, but for the price point I expected a higher standard of food. A solid experience overall, just not one I would rush back for given the value versus quality.
I’ve been to both the Blue Mountains first location and the Pyrmont second location, and Jiggle consistently delivers excellent Korean BBQ. The meat quality is outstanding — fresh, tender, and full of flavor. What really impressed me at the Pyrmont location was how clean and well-maintained the restaurant was. From the tables to the grills, everything felt hygienic and well cared for, which makes the dining experience even better. Highly recommend if you care about both quality meat and cleanliness.
Thoroughly enjoyed trying out this new restaurant in Pyrmont. The food was fantastic. All ingredients were fresh and well presented. The kimchi pancake and cheese teokkbokki were standouts. The meat is on the pricier side of KBBQ in Sydney, so come with this in mind. The staff are lovely and the service is exceptional. As is the sparkling grape soda! Definitely worth visiting while in the area.
Hooray! I have dined at Jiggle Leura on numerous occasions and Jiggle Pyrmont DID NOT disappoint. First impressions were impeccable! The delightful hosts Hannah and Jay and wait team made us feel so very welcome, setting the scene for a lovely evening. They have achieved a wonderful blend of contemporary and traditional Korean with a nod to a Hanok style architecture in the design and lighting. Photographs from Seoul and other areas of South Korea by Hannah add a personal touch to the decor. What a great idea! The food was delicious!! The signature Jiggle Wagyu Cube and Wagyu Rib Meat were so tender and flavoursome, as were the Beef Japchae and Seafood Pancake. Don’t forget the Dumplings! Complimentary sides of Kimchi, radish etc were fresh and complete the experience so well. I loved the concept of not only being able to enjoy a beer, soju or rice wine with the meal but also some lovely Australian wine from the Orange region. A thoughtful wine menu, pairing nicely with the flavours of the food. When you can’t decide, have both! Like myself! Congratulations Jiggle Team! What a lovely experience! Definitely a return experience to be had.
