The person that took the order couldn’t speak English well & our part of our order was wrong- they didn’t offer to change it they just took it away. The meat was a bit chewy but the mushroom salad was nice. They also provide a wide selection of sides.
Have been here many times over the years, the food is always delicious and amazing! Can get crowded at times, the tables are a bit close together. Some dishes are kind of expensive now.
We loved going Kangnam for Korean food. We usually go for dinner as we are a big fan of Korean BBQ, but this time we went during lunch to celebrate a birthday. The fried chicken and seafood pancake were soooo crispy and delicious. The atmosphere was also great for having conversations.
We visited Kangnam BBQ and ordered the Seafood Noodle. It was exactly what I needed—a huge portion with a rich, flavourful broth and plenty of seafood (prawns, mussels, squid). The noodles were cooked perfectly—chewy and satisfying. It’s a great dish to have on its own or to share alongside some BBQ meat. Highly recommend if you want a comforting, filling meal.
Kangnam is THE BEST KBBQ joint in Sydney. No cap 🧢 Superb. They do NOT shy away from the side dishes or the meat, which is exactly how it should be. Amazing food, great staff, and a proper feast every time. If you haven’t already, treat yourself. Grab some meat, pile up the side dishes, grab a soju, and just let loose. Always a blast at Kangnam. KANGNAM #1 ☝🏼
