Must have is the kimchew stew, they use the pork cartilage soft bone as the choice of meat. Beautiful and favourite cut. And, the beef broth old noodle was a huge surprise. You can taste the deep flavours of the beef bone in the cold broth. Not hot soup but Cold! And could still taste it strong.

I’ve been coming to Mapo Galbi for a while, and I have to say the marinated galbi is still one of the best. The meat is always so juicy, tender, and packed with flavour—the marinade is absolutely delicious. A special shoutout to HYUN JUNG, who genuinely deserves a raise! She is incredibly friendly, attentive, and always one step ahead. I especially appreciate how she changes the grill without us even having to ask. It’s the little details like that which make such a difference to the dining experience. I had previously left a negative review after a disappointing experience with a different staff member, and because of that I hadn’t been visiting as regularly. I’m really happy to see such a positive change in the service. The difference in staff has completely changed the experience for the better, and I’ll definitely be coming back much more often. Highly recommend the marinated galbi and a big thank you to Hyun Jung for the exceptional service! Also, if you have been wanting to try korean spicy raw marinated crab would recommend going here. As they give a small portion of it as a side dish. So you can try it before committing to a full plate. Very yummy!

Food was ok .. but service was terrible .. Korean girl she thinks she is K-pop dancer or singer !! Doesn’t care and just not interested !! Food was ok !! Mediocre..

Didn't expect much when I walked into this restaurant, but I have to say it's indeed a decent BBQ place you can find in West Ryde! The beef ribs were thoroughly marinated, so when you cooked them, all flavours were still intact. My favourite was the spicy cold noodle. Definitely recommended this place, and I sure will revisit.

Have become a regular here because I enjoy the casual atmosphere and soups. Service can be fast once you get their attention. Bbq is good and ban chans on rotation are also good.
