Nothing like North Strathfield. My kimchi soup wasn’t great and was a bit on the sweet side, though the side dishes were good. I arrived right at opening time and there was only a lady in the kitchen setting up—no one else around. The waitress showed up about 10 minutes late and then went to change into pants. I ended up waiting over 20 minutes for my order, even though I was the only customer there. I ordered a spicy pork bento box to go, but the pork was pretty average and didn’t really taste like your typical spicy pork dish. I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

I really think the spicy pork backbone soup at this restaurant is delicious. Since I live nearby, I often come here whenever I don’t feel like cooking. The side dishes they provide are also very generous and varied. I’ve brought many different friends and my boyfriend here before, and they all thought the food was great as well. I haven’t tried their BBQ yet, but I’d love to give it a try next time when I have the chance.

The food we ordered was tasteless, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. When I mentioned this feedback to the girl at the counter while making payment, she simply smiled and said “okay.” She then said she would pass the feedback on, but her response felt insincere. Couldn't even eat the food.

Had a great dinner at Myeongdong Korean restaurant near Chatswood Station! 🍲🫶 The service was super friendly and attentive — the staff even kindly suggested we switch to smaller portions since it was just two of us. So thoughtful! Portions are very generous, and everything we tried was packed with flavour — from the spicy pork bone soup to the crispy fried chicken. Definitely recommend the chive pancake too! Would love to come back again. 🙌

Located conveniently in the eating district of Chatswood, it is right smack next to the station easily accessible via bus, train or metro. Overall, it is an ok Korean restaurant whereby I prefer other Korean eateries. I have been here a few times. Highlights: - Orders can be placed via QR code or through the staff - They have indoor and outdoor seating. During the colder times, they have the heater running to keep their patrons warm even for outdoor. Hotter times, they have the ac for indoor. - They are pet friendly for outdoor seating - Staff are ok and can be helpful - Food was ok but nothing to shout about. The bibimbab was ok but I wouldn't recommend the samgyetang. The chicken didnt taste fresh when I had it and didnt have sufficient herb taste including ginseng. - They have complementary water and banchan - Korean side dishes. Free refills for the side dishes and they tasted decent. - They accept both cash and card. - The place is generally clean. Overall, it is a place that in a pinch is ok to go and have a meal.
