Best Korean fried chicken in Sydney at West Ryde! The quality of other Korean fried chicken restaurants is like a YoYo, sometimes is good & other times below average oily & greasy. This Brown Chicken Korean fried chicken at West Ryde that we enjoyed, the crispy skins still soft inside, the chicken meat is juicy, not dried & not over-marinated. They also served you entire chicken when you paid for whole chicken meal, very honest place.
One of the best Korean Fried Chicken places in Sydney. I have been here many times and it always hits the spot. This time, we had the Spicy Soy Chicken and the Snow Potato Gems which I both recommend! Chicken was really juicey and coated with a generous amount of spicy soy glazd
The chicken itself was very juicy and crunchy! The snow cheese flavour was good, not too sweet but cheesy. The kimari tasted homemade and the radish pickle was refreshing and delicious. More a local joint - minimal vibe and just enough service. Impressed and would recommend overall.
Ordered boneless half and half. Sweet and Spicy with Spicy Soy. Pleasantly surprised. Chicken was well cooked and juicy. Decently crispy and well seasoned. There’s about a 15 min crispy shelf life before the sauce over permeates the crispy shell and compromises the texture. I have to say, the Spicy Soy is actually very spicy. I consider my spice tolerance to be decent, and this was a hit and a half. A little disappointed that extra pickles costs a whopping $3 given what we’re already paying. They taste alright, along the the crispy slaw.
In a suburb not short of Korean Fried Chicken, Brown Chicken is arguably the best one. They serve crispy and flavoursome fried chicken that's still very juicy on the inside. The soy garlic sauce is packs a strong garlic kick, while the original version is something we could endlessly eat. The side dishes (Radish and Mayo Cabbage) are thoughtful and go great with the chicken. They seem to take much more takeaway orders, as the kitchen seemingly pumps out chicken in handy carry boxes.
