This place used to be the bomb at stratty!!! It was always full of people and the food always tasted great! .....15 years later ......please don't go ! I can make better at home! Go to eastwood for some more authentic Korean food.... this place is owned by a Korean lady ....but saddly cooked and served by non Korean chefs. Its sad to see such a great popular restaurant turn to something like this . Mind you ...this isn't the only place in Sydney that hasn't keep up its reputation.

The food was fantastic and CHEAP especially if u go with a group. The service was really great, the guy handed us gloves knowing we are unable to eat the chicken using utensils. Atmosphere was really quiet, relaxing and chill. No music or loud noises, just really quiet.

This is my third time here. I keep coming back because I always order the same dish—Jajangmye. However, my friend likes to try different dishes, such as spicy fried chicken (I don’t remember the exact name, but something like that) and a bowl of soup. I tried the chicken, and the first thing I noticed was its sweet and sour taste. It wasn’t as spicy as stated on the menu, but it suited my taste. However, what really scared me was that the inside was completely raw, still showing red, uncooked meat. That said, I can understand since the restaurant was really busy when I arrived. As for the soup, my friend said it wasn’t good. On the bright side, I really appreciate the kimchi here. One important thing to note if you care about customer service: the staff are very friendly, but their boss isn’t. The first time I came, he pointed at me and then at an empty table, signaling me to sit there. I was a bit surprised, but it was fine—I assumed they just weren’t good at communication and let it slide. However, if you’re someone who values good service and attitude, you might want to think twice before coming here.

What a find! Very good value for money and the guy running the place is very friendly and efficient. Love their pork and soft tofu soup, and their banchan is very good!

Give 1 star is too much I wish there’s negative rating. I normally don’t give bad comments on restaurants but this time money spent cannot buy happiness but full of disappointment and anger therefore have to share with others so you don’t go for this place. Food is the worst part, disgusting beef: black, overcooked, dried and reheated from previous days or leftover small pieces- refer to photos. My kids wanted to eat but then I found the beef was full of tiny pieces and burnt. I tried 2 bits very hard and dry. We soon called the waitress she is not korean, she said we should have told her earlier, no explanation no apology nothing. Look at the beef and tofu soup, never seen this soup in other korean restaurants, it came with all the disgusting foam floating on the top can’t even have the soup. the half spicy chicken and half sweet sour chicken was also dry and chewy, definitely not freshly cooked. Kids were hungry therefore we went into this one which didn’t have to wait and only 1 table was inside at the time on a busy saturday night. it’s the worst korean restaurant in strathfield and in Sydney. the owner and chef inside are not korean, don’t waste your money here. We left a lot of food there because they were not fresh and still hungry afterwards. We paid the bill in full the boss didn’t give us any explanation or discount which was a disaster how can they still operate business?
