I upgraded rice to the nutritious pot rice; it was nutty, pleasantly chewy, warm and packed with nutrition. Not only that, but the spicy pork rice bowl and *sundae* (blood sausage) soup were also delicious. I had a good meal experience here ♡

Truly enjoyed my bibimbap! It was served with reasonable amount of banchans. You will know a place is good when you see locals visit the place. 😊 will definitely come back and try other dishes.

Passed by this new Korean restaurant last week and decided to give it a try. The staff were very nice and friendly which made the experience pleasant from the start. We ordered the mixed jokbal (pig trotter) platter and the portion was very generous. Unfortunately, the original flavour was a bit dry, and while the spicy version was more flavourful but most of it was just skin which was a little disappointing. We also had the chive pancake which was nicely crisp and definitely a highlight of the meal. Overall, a decent first visit with great service. I hope the food will improve as they settle in.

I was honestly surprised to see the recent review saying the bossam had a bad smell. I completely disagree. I just tried it myself and it was absolutely delicious—fresh, tender, and full of flavor. Leaving such harsh comments feels quite disrespectful, especially when the food is clearly made with care. Everyone has different tastes, but I think it’s important to be fair and respectful when writing reviews. I would definitely come back again!

I recently visited Charim K and had a really enjoyable experience. We tried their bossam, which was pretty good—tender pork with fresh sides that balanced everything nicely. The spicy beef soup was also quite nice, rich and comforting with just the right level of heat. What really stood out was the crowd—most of the diners were Korean, and a lot of them were ordering the clear pork or beef soup with intestine. That’s usually a great sign of authenticity, and it definitely made me curious to try it next time since it seems to be their specialty. Overall, a solid spot for comforting Korean food with an authentic vibe. Would happily come back to explore more of the menu!
