I recently tried the Boneless Fried Chicken with Soy Garlic and a Watermelon Ade at V Chicken. The service was good, and the food arrived reasonably quickly, which made for a pleasant dining experience. The chicken itself was crispy, juicy, and satisfying. The Soy Garlic sauce had a nice aroma and flavour, but it was a bit too sweet for my personal taste. Fortunately, they provided a chilli pickle on the side, which added some heat and acidity that balanced out the sweetness perfectly. Without it, I think the sauce would have been a little overpowering. The Watermelon Ade was refreshing and paired well with the meal, helping to cut through the richness of the fried chicken. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. The quality of the chicken was great, the service was attentive, and the waiting time was reasonable. While the Soy Garlic sauce may be on the sweeter side, the chilli pickle made a big difference in creating a more balanced flavour. I'd be happy to return and try some of their other flavours next time.

I really like this place and have been here multiple times, but lately I’ve been quite disappointed. I ordered a half Korean chicken, and when it arrived, it looked like a full, generous portion on the plate. However, once I started eating, I realized that only about 30% of it was actual chicken. The rest was just fried batter with barely any meat inside. The pieces were very small, but the thick coating made the portion look much bigger than it actually was. It felt quite misleading and not worth the money. The service is also inconsistent. Sometimes the staff are friendly, but other times they can be quite rude. On one visit, the staff placed the food on our table quickly and forcefully without even looking at us, then walked away. It didn’t feel welcoming at all. I used to really enjoy coming here, but experiences like this make it hard to keep coming back. I hope they improve both the food quality and service.

This Korean fried chicken is such a comfort food! It’s the kind of meal you can enjoy every day without getting bored. The chicken is crispy, flavorful, and really satisfying. Definitely a go-to spot when I’m craving something easy and delicious.

The head of house was very friendly and the food was delicious, free sides are always nice. The room was quite small but cozy. The bathrooms need some TLC Would definitely recommend to anyone!! Except vegetarians.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Been going here several times a quarter over the past few years. Chicken V Strathfield is hands down one of the best Korean fried chicken spots I’ve ever been to! The chicken is perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with a variety of flavors that cater to every taste—whether you like it spicy, sweet, or savory. The soy garlic and spicy options are my personal favorites, but you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. I recommend the RAINBOW CHICKEN for groups of 3-4 people. The sides are just as impressive, especially the cheesy corn and pancake, which are the perfect complement to the chicken. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity you get. The service is quick and friendly, and the atmosphere is lively and fun, making it a great place to hang out with friends or family. Free cold table water is provided. Whether you’re a fried chicken enthusiast or just looking for a delicious meal, Chicken V Strathfield is a must-visit! 5/5 stars—I’ll definitely be coming back for more!
