The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They were kind throughout our visit. The shabu shabu was decent, but I didn’t feel it offered great value for the price. At $32 per person, the vegetable portion was quite small, and we ordered an extra plate for $12, which was also smaller than expected. We also had to ask about our noodles as they hadn’t been served, and we needed to ask twice for more broth. It seemed like the staff were busy with takeaway orders, so the dine-in service felt a little slow. Overall, the staff were lovely, but I think the portion sizes and service could be improved.
Great food, great service, and great atmosphere. The bulgogi udon and teriyaki chicken bibimbap were delicious, and the fried chicken was packed with flavor. Highly recommend! Will definitely come back!!
Delicious. Must try. Authentic One of the best Korean food experiences we’ve had in Sydney. Korean restaurant served genuinely authentic Korean food without toning down the flavours. We tried the bibimbap and udon, and both were excellent. Fresh ingredients, comforting flavours, generous portions, and everything tasted properly homemade rather than commercialised. The real standout though was the homemade kimchi. Absolutely spectacular. The acidity, spice level, crunch, and depth of flavour were perfectly balanced. You can instantly tell it’s made with care and not something pulled out of a generic bulk container. A lot of places claim to be authentic Korean, but this one genuinely delivers. Highly recommend if you want proper Korean comfort food in Sydney.
Kasina Korean Food was amazing! The fried chicken was crispy and flavourful, the kimchi stew was rich and comforting, and the pancake was perfectly crispy. Generous portions, fast service, and great atmosphere. Definitely coming back!
We dropped in for an impromptu dinner, craving Korean fried chicken, and this place delivered exactly what we were after. We ordered the fried chicken platter and it really hit the spot. The chicken was fresh and perfectly cooked, with moist pieces and a light, crisp crumb. The sauce selection was excellent and added real depth and variety to the meal. We also had soju with our food, which was a great pairing and added to the overall experience. The atmosphere is casual, very much like a suburban diner style setup. Nothing fancy, but comfortable and easy, and it suits the food. A special mention to Tiffany, who was absolutely lovely. Friendly, warm, and genuinely engaging, she shared little stories and tips about how certain dishes and drinks are traditionally enjoyed in Korea, which made the experience feel more personal and authentic. Overall, a solid spot that focuses on doing the food well. As someone who loves supporting local businesses run by people who clearly work hard and care about what they do, this is a place I’d happily recommend and return to.
