Been wanting to visit for the longest time! A perfect lunch option if you’re in the area! We went for dinner and the shop’s vibe was very cosy. The owner is very friendly and nice. We ordered the bulgogi beef bowl and og pork belly bowl. Beef was really flavorful and tender but the pork belly was a little dry and tough. Other than that, everything was yummy! Definitely top up kimchi in your bowl and try their house made sodas! They just released a new Mandarin flavor which we’ll try next time! We tried the Apple flavor today and you could really taste apple and it was like they said “not too sweet”. Prices are very reasonable and portion is decent! There are only about 4 outdoor tables so be prepared to take your food away.

Kim's Korean Deli is food made with honesty, heart, and imagination. The clever fusion of two of Sydney's most lifestyle-friendly food trends—Korean barbecue and salad bowls—has been turning heads in Darlinghurst since opening. Chef-owner duo Janice and Kevin (along with their sweetest little princess 🐨) run this humble hole-in-the-wall opposite the National Art School, serving a concise menu packed with balanced flavours, textural contrast, great nutrition, and meals that leave you feeling both satisfied and energised. In many salad bowls, vegetables can feel like an afterthought. Here, every ingredient gets its moment. Whether you choose cabbage, brown rice, or a half-and-half base, the vibrant mix of colours soaks up the dressing beautifully, creating a robust foundation for your protein of choice. The meats draw inspiration from Korean barbecue favourites—tender, smoky, and each carrying its own distinctive marinade with just the right touch of char. Pepitas add crunch and an earthy counterpoint to the brightness of the kimchi and dressing. The house sodas and cup broth are highly recommended as well. There's a clear sense of care behind every item on the menu, reflecting countless hours of experimentation and a deep understanding of their recipes as they continue expanding into dinner service. In a city often driven by hype, it's refreshing to discover a spot that delivers as much as it promises. And for the macro-crunchers out there, healthy eating has rarely looked this colourful.

Got the O.G Chicken bowl with a cabbage base. Sauce and kimchi came on the side so easy to adjust to your liking. Ingredients tasted fresh and tasty. Other than bowls, they have protein cups and wraps. They also had a bone broth soup special- great for Winter. Staff and the owner especially were super friendly and welcoming- if I worked near the area I could see this as a great regular spot. Not too much in the ways of tables and seats but it's easy to take away.

Got the steak plate. So delicious and really good value. $20.40. Perfectly cooked steak. The butter sauce is delicious. Sooo tasty wished there was more to of it to smoother on the rice. Perfect fluffy rice. Delicious broccoli, a little crunchy but not undercooked. The salad was perfect. The dressing was so tasty. Highly recommend. The house made soda really is home made in house. Not too sweet. Refreshing. Perfect. Highly recommend. Service 10/10. Super friendly and warm welcoming vibes. Food came out fresh and fast and was still hot when I got home to my house.

Super friendly founder Kevin, so much meat packed in the salad, great value! No inside seats, but the burner keeps you warm sitting outside. Only thing I would suggest is put dressing on the side as a default option for calorie conscious folks ;)
