Generous portions and packed with flavour. I ordered their spicy pork bone stew. Their spicy wagyu & radish soup is also highly recommended. Would love to try their clean pork gomtang soup and one with pork bones and offal. They offered preserved shrimps and perilla oil too as condiments. Thankful for these because they really elevate the flavour profile ๐ฏ
Hearty meal ! This is a small K restaurant specialising in traditional Korean broth made with pork, beef and chicken. I have tried clear beef soup and it was exceptional. The soup was very rich but clear probably as a result of hours of extracting the meaty essence then skimming off the fat. All the side dishes were also neat and tasty and the service was very attentive and pleasant. Also the soup came with a small lump of noodles. The serving was quite large but it was so good that I had to eat out all. It turned out the owner was serving the customers directly- no wonder the full customer satisfaction !!! this will be the place to go for a quick hearty meal with friends & family.
Great Korean soups and pancakes. We got the large pork gukbap ($29). The soup was fantastic as it had a nice clean, creamy and savoury flavour to it. The pork slices and organs were also were all quite tender and flavourful. The condiments provided also helped to elevate the soup. 5/5. We also got the prawn perilla leaves pancake ($25). This dish was also decent. The perilla leaves had a nice herbal aroma to it, the prawns were springy, and the batter was very crispy. 4.5-5/5. The banchan were also acceptable. Overall great Korean food here. Overall ranking: 4.5-5/5.
Nice and hearty Korean stews that warm the soul - perfect for a cold, rainy day. Quite generous with the meat which was also nice. All side dishes were on point - fresh kimchi, fish cakes and free rice refills.
