⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Korean seafood restaurant! The seafood was incredibly fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. Every dish was cooked perfectly, especially the grilled seafood and spicy seafood soup. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The restaurant was clean, and the atmosphere was warm and authentic. Great value for the quality of the food. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone who loves Korean fresh sea food!
Went to Oyako in Lidcombe and ordered the salmon plate and the seafood pancake. The salmon 🍣 is really fresh and actually has that real salmon flavour, kind of like what you would get at a fish market in Japan. It is quite rare to find that level of quality in Australia. The seafood 🦑 🦐 pancake is good too. It is basically 90% seafood like squid, prawn, and calamari rings, and only 10% actual pancake, which is very generous. It is not cheap, but it is a reasonable price considering the outstanding quality and generous portion sizes.
This place serves generous amount of foods. We ordered the spicy fish roe soup and they put lots of the fish roes in. We also got the fried squid. Balance of the flour and squid are perfect and seasoned well. We also got the deluxe sashimi platter and it was freshly served. The oysters were seasoned well too. They gave free packets of seaweeds to eat with the sashimi. Lastly, the cold raw beef soba noodle soup were refreshing and the amount of beef was perfectly balanced with the noodle. Fast and efficient service.
Sashimi is super fresh! Especially the oysters are strongly recommended!! The fish soup is so well-made so it's good to have after finishing having sashimi. The deep fried chichen wings are super crisp and tasty salty. My hus and I smashed them!
Trying out this restaurant for the first time and it’s surprisingly good. Oysters and sashimi are fresh and delicious. Highly recommended.
