Had dinner here at Park Bong Sook tonight. Two people. Wait for table was about 10min, at about 6pm. There were perhaps 6 groups in front of us, but they moved groups fast as it turns out they have an upstairs dining room as well! We ordered seafood pancake and deep fried pork ribs (meal size, and a new item in the menu). Sides and a rice came out soon after ordering, and the food came about 10-15min later. Service is friendly and quick. The food was really good! Best seafood pancake Ive had for a while. Crispy, lots of prawns and calamari and less on the dough. Fried pork ribs came with a few fried rice cakes too. Ribs crispy, covered with sweet soy sauce, came with sweet onion mayo (kind of) sauce, which was really nice with it actually. Very filling for 2 people. Perfect for 3. Very tasty. Not cheap though. Bill came to $58. This place is very packed. I pass it frequently and it always has a line up out front. Atmosphere is good but way too noisy for me. We sat in the middle aisle tables, and gave up speaking part way because we just couldn’t hear one other over the noise. (Perhaps seating at the tables along the side walls would be a different experience).

Some of the best korean food i’ve tried in sydney. BUT avoid the pork bone soup (unless you like spending all your time picking away the bone) as that was the only dish i was unhappy with. Everything else was fantastic. HIGHLY recommend the spicy beef soup. Tomatoey, spicy, beefy, deep rich flavours. The fried chicken was great too - I had the one with cheese on top.

Delicious!!!! Came here cos Melbourne recently opened one but heard Sydney had the og. Lovely variety of options, mid to slightly more expenny but pretty standard, decent portion sizes, got the sizzling pork plate, pork belly and rice, braised beef and rice cake, decent Banchan variety as well!! Very much enjoyed this meal! Waiting for the wow factor though, still looking for the ultimate Korean restaurant!!

After visiting South Korea several times, we had been craving authentic Korean food once back in Sydney, and Park Bong Sook Korean Restaurant absolutely hit the nail on the head. The food was incredibly delicious and the quality was fantastic from start to finish. Every dish tasted fresh, full of flavour, and made with real care. There was a great variety of options on the menu, with plenty to choose from whether you wanted classic comfort dishes or something new to try. One of the highlights was the complimentary side dishes, which were generous and varied, and instantly reminded us of our time in Seoul. That authentic touch really made the experience special. The restaurant itself is a little run down in appearance, but don’t let that put you off for a second. Sometimes the most authentic places are the simplest, and this is a perfect example of that. What matters here is the food, and it is outstanding. By far, this is one of the best authentic Korean restaurants we have found in Sydney. If you are looking for genuine Korean flavours rather than a trendy watered-down version, this place is absolutely worth visiting. We will definitely be back.

Really tasty Korean food! Even on a weekday lunchtime it was quite busy, which says a lot. Tried their new spicy chicken feet hot pot — it gets more flavourful the longer it cooks. Definitely worth a try!
