Chicken V was honestly a great surprise. The chicken quality was really good. Tender, juicy, and full of flavour without feeling overly greasy like a lot of other chicken spots. You could tell the food was fresh and made properly instead of rushed out. One thing that really stood out were the boiled pork wraps. They were delicious and something a bit different from the usual menu items you see around. Packed with flavour and balanced really well with the sauces and sides. What impressed me most though was how well they handled our group of 10. Even with a big group, the service was fast, organised, and the food came out without long delays. That’s usually where a lot of places fall apart, but the staff here kept everything moving smoothly. The atmosphere was casual and welcoming, making it an easy place to sit down with friends or family for a relaxed meal. Overall, really solid food, generous portions, and efficient service. Definitely a spot worth coming back to, especially if you’re dining with a bigger group and want something reliable and tasty.

This was the first place I ate at in Sydney 3 years ago. I think the food has only gotten better since. Come with a group of friends for a true taste of Korean food and culture.

The ratings are inflated because they offer customers a free drink per 5 star review. So I wouldn’t place much trust in any of the 5 star reviews. They didn’t even mention the review had to be 5 stars in their promotion. Obviously I didn’t get a free drink. I ordered the Beef Bibimbap and fried Pork Dumplings. The portion size for the $24.9 beef was pitiful, and minced and cold instead of sliced, which was different from what is shown on the menu. The dumplings were fine (and hot!) though the dumpling skin was a bit tough. I also didn’t think the Squid Game theme came across well. They had one wall made of blue and pink container panels and a few words in pink handwritten font. I wouldn’t be returning.

This is the Korean restaurant with the worst service I’ve experienced in Sydney so far. I’ve tried quite a few Korean restaurants around Sydney, and today I was excited to try a new place. The food was fine, but the service was really disappointing. The guy with bangs and the lady serving our table were both rude and unfriendly. They ignored me when I tried to ask about a missing item from our order. There was no apology, no thank you, and overall they made us feel unwelcome. Definitely a one-time visit for me. I will never come back again. Another downside was the ventilation inside the restaurant. After leaving, the smell of fried food stayed on my hair and clothes for hours, which was quite unpleasant. This is actually the first restaurant review I’ve ever written, which says a lot about how disappointing this experience was for me.

Had such a great experience at Squid Pocha. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and came out quickly. The seafood dishes were definitely the highlight, especially the squid, and the portions were generous for the price. The atmosphere was lively and fun, with a really authentic late-night Korean street food vibe.
