Great korean dumplings (mandu) and noodles πŸ₯Ÿ Good quality simple homey food It’s a slightly cramped space inside which only has ~20 seats (being generous) - therefore can easily have a line on a busy day. The service was decently fast. For all group sizes including solo diners. Dumplings we ate: - Prawn with pork dumpling: this had whole prawn inside in addition to the regular pork/glass noodle/cabbage/chive filling. The skin was thin and the amount of filling was pretty generous, which is what people like about this restaurant. The dumplings look like they are stuffed and are quite large. - Kimchi with pork dumpling: there was kimchi inside in addition to the aforementioned pork + noodle filling - I quite enjoyed the added mild spiciness from the kimchi. There isn’t any sourness like kimchi usually has. This one is my go-to choice for dumplings. - Deep fried pork dumpling: your classic pork dumpling but deep fried to crispy golden brown. Really nice crunchy texture. - Kimchi with pork bun dumpling: same as the other dumpling but in a soft white bun instead of the usual mandu skin. Soup noodles: The Beef Bone Noodle Soup and the Original Clear Beef Noodle Soup were both great choices; very clean tasting broth in both, with ample portions of meat and noodles. To be honest the main thing here is the hot soup anyways; great on a cold day, and known for its light and clean flavours. The bone broth is full of richness and umami while the clear beef soup did not have the added protein/collagen in the broth, but retained the rich beef flavour. They also have options of dumpling + noodle soups which lets you have a bit of dumpling and also bit of noodles together, if you are undecided on either and worry you cannot finish both.

Must visit this place especially during winter!! This place usually has a line but we managed to get in without too much of a wait (less than 5 minutes). The place has a small menu unlike many other Korean places which I like since its telling me that they specialise in what they do. The seating was a bit cramped and was kinda weird that some boxes were behind me. The food came out quickly and the servers were quick to attend to people. I do wish though that when we were waiting at the start outside, that they came to us shortly after making eye contact. We tried the clear original beef noodle soup and the kimchi with pork dumplings. I am glad that they indicated the best sellers on the menu to help make choices. As a note, the original beef noodle soup looks different to the picture. The noodle soup and dumplings came out piping hot with a few side dishes. The noodles had the perfect level of chewiness, the soup was comforting and the beef was tender. The soup was subtle in flavour but was not bland. I do wish that the beef had more flavour to it though I understand this is typical of these noodle soups. I wish maybe the dish came with some hot sauce or oil that people can add in. I ended up adding some kimchi juice to the dish which gave some nice acidity to it. The dumplings were amazing and super packed with delicious filling. The skin was thin and tender and I will come back to this place just for the dumplings again. Edit: came back on second visit and it was as good! Pretty consistent and the pork dumplings were as good as the pork and kimchi ones Edit v2: Fried pork dumplings are AMAZING though I wish it came with a spicy, creamy sauce. I think that would complement it well

We love the dumplings here, I visited this store like 7-8 years before, and always remember their dumplings are great. But the price increase a lot. We will still visit in the future!!! 😁

Amazing and high quality homemade kimchi mandu. Made fresh to order hence for the freshness of ingredients and taste experiences. However due to the small shop size with great popularity amongst experienced and curious eaters, the wait times can be quite long. There was only 1 group before us and we waited nearly 15mins. However their service is quite efficient as they encouraged to take our order while we are waiting so as soon as you get the table, the food came out shortly after.

The dumlings and noodles here were great and very tasty. The pork kimchi we ordered were full of ingredients inside. The beef bone soup noodles and seafood noodles were abundant. Staff here were very attentive and served very quickly. The restaurant itself was a bit packed so occasionally a line of people formed outside.
