The food here is absolutely delicious, and their set menu offers incredible value for money. The beef rib soup—it’s packed with flavor, comforting, and cooked to perfection. Great portions and friendly service too. Will definitely be back!
We had a fantastic dining experience at The Zungle in Ashfield! From the moment we arrived, the owner was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel right at home. One of the highlights of the evening was the amazing rib fire show. It was exciting to watch and made the whole dining experience even more memorable. The ribs were absolutely delicious. The Galbitang was exceptional and honestly the best Galbitang I've had in Sydney. The broth was rich and comforting, and the meat was perfectly cooked and incredibly tender. The Pork Bone Soup was also outstanding, with a deep, hearty flavour and generous portions. Every dish was packed with flavour and prepared to perfection. Everything about our visit exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the owner's hospitality made the experience even more special. I highly recommend The Zungle in Ashfield to anyone looking for authentic and delicious Korean food. We will definitely be back!
I tried the signature King Kong ribs, and as expected from a house specialty, the meat quality was outstanding with incredible flavor. The live fire show right in front of us was such a fun experience, and they even reheated the meat to keep it warm until we finished eating. It was beautifully served on a hot grill, which made it even more enjoyable. The cheese dakgalbi had a nice smoky flavor and was absolutely delicious—perfect with a cold beer. The mul naengmyeon was the most refreshing and clean-tasting dish among the signature menu, making it a great palate cleanser. The restaurant was packed, which says a lot, and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!
Great, friendly service from our waiter — he was enthusiastic, welcoming, and had a great sense of humour. Highly recommend the beef between the ribs mixed with the cold noodles — absolute banger of a dish and a top-tier suggestion from him. Also worth noting: there’s an 8.8% discount if you pay cash, which is a nice saving.
Super nice authentic Korean food in Ashfield! This place is becoming my go to Korean fix. The owners and staff are really nice, so welcoming and kind. Great dining experience with fresh side dishes and tastes like local Korean home cooked dishes :). A lot of people go for bbq but the hot soup dishes are the best!
