🍲 We tried: β€’ Pork sausage soup with rice (순ꡭλ°₯) – $24 The soup was not seasoned, so you need to add salt to your taste. For us, the flavour was okay but not very special. β€’ Cockle bibimbap (꼬막비빔λ°₯) – $29 (pop-up menu) This one was delicious. The sauce was very tasty, and the cockles were big and generous in portion. Must try if it is available! ⏳ The place is always busy, so expect a queue, but normally the wait is not too long. 🚫 Takeaway is not available. ✨ The interior looks nice and the place is very clean. 😊 The staff and owner are kind.

Second time visiting Yeodongsik and I'm so glad they have opened up this spacious outlet in Eastwood. Tried the buckwheat noodles with perilla oil which was deliciously refreshing with a nutty aroma. On their pop-up menu was the seasoned cockles bimbimbap which was not quite as I had expected because it was served cold with a bowl of rice and seaweed on the side. But nonetheless, the dish was a surprise hit. The cockles were so nice and plump, and paired so well with the garlic chives and spring onions. Expect a bit of a queue but turnover is quick.

I love that the soup is served piping hot. It is delicious. It took a bit long to get side dish refills, which is why I gave service 4 stars. However, due to some structural layout issue, the voices echo so much that it was difficult to have a conversation while eating. That is why the atmosphere gets 3 stars. But for the overall rating, the food is so delicious that it deserves 5 stars.

Can only go in once your whole group is there! Was a little upset when I was told that at the door because I went by myself 20mins early to queue for my group and had to stand outside even though there were seats inside. But the food was so worth it!! So still a 5 star in the end πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹ so yummmm the seaweed soba noodles is epic!

Whenever I miss Gogiri-style makguksu from Korea, I come here for the perilla oil makguksu. The line is almost always long, but it's absolutely worth the wait. The delicious food and cozy atmosphere always remind me why I keep coming back. The gukbap isn't quite as flavorful as the one I used to have at their Lidcombe location, but it's still satisfying.
