I had such an amazing experience at Al Aseel! I celebrated my birthday there with my family, and it honestly couldn’t have been more perfect. From the moment we walked in, everything was exceptional. A special shoutout to Zeynab at the front desk, she was so warm, welcoming, and made us feel instantly looked after. Anna, who took care of our table, was just as incredible. Her service was attentive, friendly, and genuinely made our night even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious, the music was such a vibe, and having everyone sing happy birthday to me made the night feel so special and fun! The atmosphere was vibrant and inviting. I’ll definitely be back, highly recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!

Great food, and the staff were friendly and helped answer questions. We got the chilli garlic prawns, which were really good, and they had a nice lemony marinade, which was a nice touch. We requested cabbage on the side, and they were kind enough to accommodate it. The lemon-garlic chicken was even better, in my opinion. The sauce tasted a bit too citrusy at first, but when paired with the chicken, it really came together. We also used the pita breads that were pre-placed on the table to dip into the sauces, and it actually came together as a lovely meal. Highly recommend it- at least for these two options. Looking forward to trying the feast someday too! Which is priced at AUD 65 pp

My family and I are longtime customers of this restaurant but last night was a disaster. I made a booking for 5:30 as we had a film to see at 6:45. - two menu items we ordered couldn’t be fulfilled due to a system error, we changed our choices - we ordered drinks and food together, received our drinks quickly but noticed other tables getting their meals but not us. We were at no point checked on by any staff - after around 40 minutes with no food we flagged a staff member to check on our order, he said it had never reached the kitchen - we sat down at 5:30 and didn’t receive any food until 6:30. This made us late for our film - I ordered vegetarian kibbeh (our table had no meat orders) when I cut into the kibbeh it was meat. We told the waitress who asked us to try another… also meat. My cutlery was not changed despite being covered in meat. I had to get this Kibbeh takeaway as we were already very late. The next morning I discovered that one Kibbeh was meat, again! I cannot believe they would make the same mistake twice. We were told a manager would speak to us, this did not happen. My partner went to the bar to pay and retold all that happened during our experience. He was told “sorry mate” and then asked to pay $160 in full. No compensation whatsoever. For this price point, and the number of errors that occurred, I did think a small compensation or offer of hospitality would be offered. I am so disappointed. I come to Al Aseel for the hospitality and reliability but this was a disaster that made me feel completely uncared for us a customer.

Was a very disappointing experience from start to finish. The waiter who served us was distracted and kept looking at someone and smiling and I had to say excuse me a couple of times. This was while he took our order. Then I ordered a cocktail and it was a blob of ice. It was meant to be Jallabi baby - mulberry Jallabi, crème de cassis, lychee and green apple liquor, apple juice, crushed ice $20. Refer to photo of what I actually received. It was disgraceful. Then we ordered a medley of Kebabs for $52. Please see picture of what we got. We ordered Kibbeh and I cannot even begin to tell you how bland it was. The salad was the best dish we received tonight. If you can’t handle a big crowd then maybe be you should take on less reservations or hire more serving staff who actually care about the job. Literally a bad experience tonight

Excellent experience from start to finish. Attended without booking in advance last night, it was one of us’s bday. The quality of the food was exceptional and we could taste the flavour in every dish. The staff were friendly and the Persian lady - seemed to be the manager - was attentive and made sure that we were looked after. We all had one of the best dining experiences recently. Especially the birthday girl, she enjoyed every dish & desserts! Highly recommended.
