Amazing high quality and tasty. However, our large group seated right near the kitchen was too smoky, was not a great experience. And service throughout w/ water/ drinks refills were non-existent, as they were busy attending to guest in the main area.

The food is no where near as a good as it used to be, the meat is quite dry and chewy. All the staff are cranky and don’t even talk to you when you come in, or putting your food down. We had a girl slam the food down and walk off. We also witnessed the same girl argue with a man over him brining his dogs to eat outside & she yelled and swore at him. She went inside then we heard pots and pans being thrown to the ground. Very unprofessional place. Don’t think I’ll be returning

Amazing food, amazing service, amazing prices. The new fit out is great! My only feedback is you need to install some acoustic panelling because it’s gets very LOUD, especially with children in the venue. I was unable to hold a conversation. Acoustic panels on walls, ceilings and even under the tables would go a long way to resolve this. Keep up the great work!

We visited your new Norton Street location, hoping for an improved experience compared to our previous visit to your other place on Marion st. While the food and the new venue are lovely, we found the service and atmosphere lacking. We ordered the traditional mixed plate, shawarma, and a kids' kafta. The food was enjoyable, though we suggest serving more bread with the mixed plate to accommodate the amount of dips provided. ( We only got two slices under the meat)Additionally, the atmosphere could be greatly improved by dimming the lights, playing music, and keeping the glass doors closed during cold winter evenings. Regarding the service, we ordered a lychee mocktail that never arrived. After inquiring at the counter, we were eventually served a lychee frappe. My daughter did not drink it, as a frozen drink is not what we wanted on a winter night. When I mentioned this at the counter while paying, the staff member was gracious, but a manager who was at the bar all night during our stay and wearing a hijab intervened and argued that the frappe was the mocktail. Your menu clearly lists these as two separate items. Please study your menus! We were disappointed by this defensive ungry attitude. She took the item off the menu and proceeded to share her anger with a fellow member of staff two meters away from me as if I was not longer there. We recommend following the example of the two staff members in black who were professional and welcoming. Providing what was actually ordered and handling feedback without argument would significantly improve the customer experience and give you returning customers.

I had the pleasure of dining at Jasmin 1 in Leichhardt last night, at their new location in Norton St, and the entire experience was outstanding. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beautiful ambience and thoughtful design of the restaurant. The space is warm, elegant, and inviting, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed and enjoyable evening. The food was exceptional. The menu offers a wonderful selection of dishes, all beautifully presented and full of flavour. Every item we ordered was fresh, authentic, and expertly prepared. What truly completed the experience was the service. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and professional throughout the evening, making us feel genuinely valued as guests. Jasmin 1 has created something special in Leichhardt. Excellent food, stunning surroundings, and first-class service. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning soon.
