Fiesta ! We finally came to try out the famous Lebanese foods at this restaurant. The place was established over 23 years, and the manager took over from the original owner 3 years ago, but the chef is apparently unchanged. The “Sahara fiesta” was great that compromised of meat skewers, sauces & salads. The lemon chicken was little dry, and lamb shank rice was ok. The waiter service was quite attentive and pleasant. The place is quite huge with lovely ME decors and looking down the river. However the lights were so bright & white and it felt like we were in a hospital or barbershop. It would be much nicer to have dimmed, warmer lights to make the place romantic/ esthetic /interesting…. Anyway, great place for small/ large gatherings and indulge in ME foods.
Went for valentine's day dinner and the quality and taste of the banquet meal was amazing. We were given 4 takeaway containers to pack up all the awesome leftovers. Service was top notch, very attentive and accommodating. Made us a special cocktail with no complaints and helped us to take a cute pic with the view. Highly recommend and we will enjoy our lunch tomorrow! Thanks!
We had a wonderful dining experience here in Parramatta. Every dish brought to our table was vibrant, fresh, and clearly prepared with care. The grilled skewers served on flatbread were perfectly cooked and full of flavour. I also particularly enjoyed the side of crispy, golden potatoes tossed with fresh herbs. It is rare to find such a consistent standard across every single plate. We will definitely be back soon.
Amazing food and great ambience! Loved the Chicken Skewers, Falafel, and Hummus—everything was fresh and full of flavour. Highly recommend for authentic Lebanese food. Will definitely visit again! 😊
We recently had a team lunch at Sahara by the River, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portions and a great variety of dishes that everyone enjoyed. The ambience was warm, welcoming, and perfect for a group gathering. A special thank you to Jad and his team for their excellent planning and organisation. Our meals were prepared and ready as we arrived, which made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. The service was friendly, attentive,and efficient throughout. Thank you for helping make our event such a success. We would happily recommend Sahara by the River to wonderful service, and a beautiful setting for a group lunch.
