Had a fantastic meal at Mamak Parramatta! The standout dish for me was the fish curry — rich, flavourful, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice. The fish was fresh and cooked beautifully, soaking up all the delicious curry flavours. The service was friendly, the food arrived quickly, and the atmosphere was lively and welcoming. Definitely a place I'll be returning to whenever I'm craving authentic Malaysian food. Highly recommend giving the fish curry a try!
Fast and tasty lunch at Mamak Parramatta. Located in Parramatta Square, Mamak is a smaller branch of their city store. Weekday lunch specials are available. Quick QR code ordering and payment. Had the Nasi Lemak with fried chicken. Tasty rice and sambal. Chicken was nicely marinated and fried. Great spot for a casual, quick and affordable lunch.
Generally enjoyed the food here, but I prefer the CBD branch! Nasi lemak was good, the beef curry was good too but not as tender. Mee goreng could have had more wok hei but still nice.
Have been to other Mamak stores and this lived up to the high expectations. The usuals of roti, chicken satay, maggi goreng, kangkung, ayam goreng were all delicious. Sambal and peanut sauce were top notch as usual too. Great service, clean setting, and adequate heating for outdoors
The Sambal Udang I ordered as per the lunch special menu certainly exceeded my expectations. Looking at the picture of the dish I expected 2/3 king prawns but to my delight there were at least 6/7 decent size prawn. The taste was delicious but this dish is not for you if you don't have relatively high heat tolerance. I could see how popular it is as it was packed at lunch service yet the service team managed everything very efficiently.
