Tried a couple of dishes, and that the chicken biryani 65 was definitely the highlight. Great flavour, generous portion, and really enjoyable overall. Food came out fresh and tasty, which made the visit worthwhile. The only downside was the ordering process. The tables have QR codes, but alcoholic drinks weren’t included in the online menu, so we still had to flag down staff a few times to place additional orders. Unfortunately, the response from the team was quite slow despite ringing the bell a couple of times, and the service overall felt a bit weak considering the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. Overall, still a good experience with tasty food, but the ordering and service flow could definitely be smoother.

Utter disappointment from the beginning to the end with some saving graces here and there 1. Website or anywhere else could not find an option to book a table(-) 2. Calling them to book table ends up in nothing(-) 3. When walked in, the counter guy immediately responded and showed us a table. (+) 4.Table is pretty small, large part of which is occupied by a jumbo cutlery holder with couple of dozens of spoons, folks & chop sticks. Its a teeny tiny table meant for just two people (-) 5. Menu is presented well (+) 6. After few minutes one of the waiting staff, a boy came to the table & educated us that the table we were sitting on is 22 and the cutlery holder belongs to table 23. He was not rude, but was not a very nice experience. There was a couple sitting on the next table to which this cutlery holder went. We were anyway relieved as we can see the table now. 7. Then after a couple of minutes, another girl came and educated again that our table number is 23 and put that cutlery holder back on our table. There was a couple sitting on that table and could see the confusion and frustration together in their eyes I looked on the right hand side table and could see a sign saying 21. That couple on our left side (23?) silently grabbed some cutlery from a vacant table 8. Ordered Double Roti with lamb curry , Hokkein beef soup, Teh Tarik & a beer. Drinks are barely cold despite mentioning in the order to have them very chilled (- -) 7. Hokkein beef soup is horrible with unevenly cooked rubbery beef. They just poured some sauce rather than soup - not hot at all. (- - - -) 8. The plate used to serve roti is so shallow that you can put quarter a tea spoon of dal to fill in those slots. They managed to put quarter of a tea spoon of dal. (- -) 9. First of the double rotis was sticky and under cooked. Could feel wet dough. Somehow managed to finish it and second was worse than that (- - -) 10. Called the girl who served us and showed the dough hanging inside the Roti. The girl apologized and replaced the roti (+) 11 This time it is cooked well, but nothing like that soft & flaky Malaysian roti+) Will never try this specific franchise of Papa Rich again

I was pretty disappointed with the Hokkien Fried Beef Hor Fun with Gravy. The gravy tasted more like a bowl of watery soy sauce than a flavorful sauce, and the whole dish was bland and seemed to have almost no seasoning. Even the drinks felt a bit underwhelming. Water was served in a yellow plastic cup, and the mango lassi came in another plastic cup. Overall, it just didn't feel like a great dining experience, and unfortunately, I wouldn't order this dish again.

Very much disappointing experience during this visit, Roti Telur Bawang I ordered was half of it not cooked, chicken served was pink. I have been visiting PappaRich for years but this time it has been a food quality wise bad experience. They need to lift game to get customers through the door. At one stage people used to queue and it was surprising to see easy entry and can sit where ever you want, and possible 14 people eating.

This restaurant has become a joke. Ordered the rendang beef for dinner. The beef tastes like charcoal. I think the beef was cooked several days ago because it’s not juicy at all. I would rate 0 of if I could. Would never come back again
