Happened upon Mamma's Bar and Kitchen on walk, and that was quite fortuitous. Spectacular caffeine, and even better Turmeric Lattes. Better omelettes than what I have experienced in Paris, and superb service. Came back for breakfast five times. I don't know if there is a better place to have a better breakfast in Sydney.

Can't fault this place. It's super casual and welcoming. Especially nice that the music is low-key. We had probably the best toastie we've had in years - mortadella, provolone, greens and aioli. Here are the best bits - 1. Not squashed flat in a sandwich press but properly grilled and 2. No unnecessary sauces and condiments. The aioli was a smear, not a fat bath. Every part of this sandwich was exellent. These guys know what they are doing. And they have ridiculously good prices.

Excellent place for breakfast. Had turmeric lattes, poached eggs on toast with sauteed mushrooms and tomatoes and an omelette with ham, cheese, mushrooms and onions. Wonderful.

Excellent experience from start to finish! The welcome was warm, the service attentive, and the team was truly friendly. The dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. A big congratulations to the whole staff for their professionalism and kindness. We had a wonderful time and will gladly come back. A place I highly recommend!

My party of five ate about 5:30. The place was empty so no need to book at that time I'm thinking. Mamma knows her focus as the menu was full of authentic Italian dishes with the occasional other choice which looked equally as good. Reasonable price (All 5 had a meal and drink for $120.) A moderate wait. Excellent service. Noise level was wonderful and we could talk easily without having to yell. Too cold this night but it would be lovely to eat out the back in their courtyard.
