Schwarmani stands out with its vibrant design and eye-catching storefront along Merrylands Road, especially given its location at the site of the old Oporto. It’s hard to miss when passing by, and it clearly attracts a steady flow of customers. I decided to sit down and try the signature mixed shawarma roll meal, which includes lamb and chicken shawarma with garlic, pickles, onion, tahini sauce, chips, and a drink. The flavours were solid and satisfying, and there’s a clear range of menu options including group packs, kids’ meals, and sweets that reflect its cultural offering. The atmosphere was busy and social, reflecting its role as a late-night food spot in the area. However, the service experience was a bit inconsistent on my visit, particularly around dine-in ordering and table service expectations. Overall, it’s a convenient and lively food option in Merrylands that adds to the local late-night dining scene and cultural mix.

Great food, great service and such a nice atmosphere! They have a really good variety of burgers, BBQ and high-protein meals, so there’s something for everyone. Everything we tried was delicious. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick. The place was clean and had a great vibe. Definitely worth visiting — I’ll be back for sure!

The shawarma was the best I’ve ever had and it was a great portion size for a good price. I loved the atmosphere as it was clean and the owners music taste was goated. (they played fairuz!). Also amazing staff who were very hospitable and friendly. They gave us great service and we did not have to wait long at all. I LOVE SHAWARMA.

I visited this restaurant before 1 week. Shawarma was so yummy and delicious. Customer service 10/10. ✨ Highly recommended for meat lover. Both chicken and beaf is juicy and tasty. Limited parking.

I visited Shawarmani today and had such a great experience! The food was incredibly fresh and full of flavour. I absolutely loved the Arabic music—it created such an amazing atmosphere. The vibe was warm, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better. I definitely recommend everyone to come and enjoy this place. I’ll definitely be back!
