Tonight ended perfectly because of this place. The food was absolutely amazing, and the tequila, cocktails, and margaritas were all incredible. But what truly impressed me the most was the warm and thoughtful service from the staff. Especially our server, Harlene she gave genuinely perfect service throughout the entire night. Every recommendation she made felt thoughtful and spot on. I was honestly amazed that every drink she recommended matched my taste perfectly. I really want to say thank you for making the experience feel so special. I would absolutely love to come back again, and I highly recommend this place for a special occasion or anniversary.

I have always held the opinion that the restaurants facing Barangaroo are a rip-off, but Alegre changed my mind. Alegre packs a wonderful Mexican decor, lovely service and flavorful food and cocktails. We celebrated a birthday, and opted for the signature menu — and they wonderfully substituted the menu to a vegan and a non-red meat dietary preference. The whole course was delicious, and the cocktails are the bomb. They smoke the Añejo ritual cocktail at the table, and it’s a wonderfully smoked cocktail along with the other Mexican cocktails. Isabelle was wonderful, and she made sure we were taken care of, checking in on us — and even surprising us with a birthday dessert and a song. We couldn’t complain. I’d definitely come back and recommend this lovely spot for a birthday or any celebration that involves love, happiness, cocktails and a good time.

Beautiful venue with beautiful food. One of the best set/shared menu I’ve ever had! We started with the corn chips and guacamole, I really liked the candied jalapeno bits! If I had to choose a favourite, it would be the passionfruit scallops ceviche & tuna sashimi tostada. The wagyu steak was perfectly cooked. I absolutely loved everything from start to finish, including the dessert!

Came first time for mum's birthday, and we had a wonderful dinner here. Our waiter Carlos was amazing giving us great food and beverage recommendations. Must try the tacos and the steak, they were awesome! Really appreciate for the surprise birthday dessert. We will definitely come back!

Great service! Our server was so lovely and very attentive. Cocktails were amazing. The first round took a little while to get to our table but after that it was very quick. Our server also let us know when we had 15 mins left of our bottomless booking so we could make sure to put our last cocktail order in on time which was very appreciated. Despite the restaurant being quite busy as it was Saturday afternoon, we did not feel rushed at all after our bottomless service finished. We were able to relax with our final drinks and leave when we were ready. The staff were also very accomodating about multiple changes to our group number in the lead up to the booking date. My allergies were catered to beautifully. Many places tend to come up with a boring vegetarian alternative but the dishes I was served alongside the vegetarian sides on the table were absolutely delicious (and plentiful) see attached photos. I would highly recommend Alegre to my friends and family. Thanks for a wonderful experience!
