Had a fantastic birthday dinner here! The food was delicious, and the service made the experience even more special. A big thank you to Pri and another young gentleman on the team for being so friendly, attentive, and thoughtful throughout the evening. They checked in regularly, made sure everything was perfect, and even surprised us with some complimentary snacks. They also helped us take Polaroid photos, which was such a lovely touch for a birthday celebration. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality really stood out. Thank you for making my birthday so memorable—I’ll definitely be back!
This is a Mexican restaurant I’ve visited many times, and it never disappoints. The food is always unique and full of flavor. I highly recommend the Chimichanga and the Birria Lamb Shank — both are absolutely delicious and worth trying! The service is also consistently excellent, making the whole dining experience very comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, it’s a place I’d happily return to again and again. Definitely recommend everyone give it a try!
Prawn Tacos – The best dish of the day! Big, crispy fried prawns (like tempura but better), super generous portions, fresh salad and sauce. A flavor explosion—add hot sauce for an extra kick. 🌽 Elotes – Grilled corn with butter, cheese, and chili sauce. Smoky, cheesy, sweet, and spicy all at once—delicious even without sauce. 🦐 Chipotle Prawns Dinner – Juicy grilled prawns with smoky, sweet, and spicy chipotle sauce. Fresh, tasty salad on the side—I even finished it all! 🍗 Chicken Wings – Crispy outside, tender inside, packed with Mexican flavor. Falls right off the bone. A signature dish that sells out fast. 🍷 Virgin Piña Colada – Pineapple-based, tropical and refreshing. Worth a try!
I can’t explain with words how I felt after finding an entire cockroach fried in my meal, after eating more than half of the plate. I honestly thought it was part of the food, like seeds or burnt corn pieces. My mind could not believe what I was seeing. I am from Mexico and I was really craving Mexican food. This place looked nice, and the menu also looked good. My partner and I are both vegetarian, so we only chose vegetarian options: corn ribs, guacamole with chips, burrata with macha sauce, cauliflower tacos, and fried rajas quesadillas. The corn ribs arrived first, together with the chips, guacamole, and burrata. We ate more than half of the corn ribs before noticing the insect. After finding the cockroach on our plate, we completely lost our appetite and did not want to continue eating anything else. We didn’t even try the tacos or the quesadillas. I cannot imagine the conditions of the kitchen if a cockroach ended up on our plate. I work in the hospitality industry, and this is the first time in Sydney that I have experienced something like this. Where are the hygiene controls, cleaning standards, and food handling procedures? This place may have all the required certifications, but it is clearly not being run in a hygienic and safe way for guests. I am also worried about getting food poisoning. It’s not only about the cockroach itself, but also about how a chef could plate the food and not notice something like this. The manager first offered to remove the corn ribs from the bill. After seeing our reaction, she then offered not to charge us for the entire bill. Honestly, I don’t understand how we could pay for food when it is clear that basic hygiene and food safety procedures were not followed. She also offered for us to come back another time and eat for free, but to be honest, we do not plan on returning to this place.
This Mexican restaurant is truly impressive, with generous portions and reasonable prices. The interior is vibrantly decorated, making it perfect for photos. The cocktails are refreshing and delicious—ideal when paired with the corn ribs or fried squid. The fresh Ceviche Tostadas and prawn tacos are also highly recommended!
