**UPDATE** I called the store and spoke to someone then went back to the store the following day and they made everything good. They remade the 2 burritos and they were perfect, filling and very yummy. Thanks GYG. I ordered a family fiesta pack that comes with 2 burritos, a MILD chicken and a MILD pulled pork burrito, BOTH of whick I couldnt eat because they were both spicy and people cant do their job properly and read an order slip. The pack also came with 2 kids ground beef nachos which were so damn small, there is more food in a can of cat food. This is really pathetic. Do better or close your store down, this is just crap. I couldnt take it back because I wasnt going to drive all the way back cause I live too far away to do that. I only took a photo of one of the nachos because I ate the other one I was so hungry. I feel I am entitled to a replacement meal OR a refund ($48) less the the cost of the chips, they were the ONLY good thing about it all.
“Excellent food, friendly staff, and great service. The restaurant is always clean and welcoming. The meals are fresh, delicious, and served quickly. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience. I will definitely come back again!”
Actually tragic. I wouldn't wish this lack of care upon even my worst enemy. When reading this review at ANY point you think "it couldn't have been that bad..." i insist you look at the photos then read on 😭😭 Please enjoy my honest and easily digestible (unlike the tacos) review of why the Bondi Junction Gyg store should be (and probably will be) the last place you think about eating at . Preface: this review would be more substantial if i had more to write about... and i mean that literally. My tacos where empty. 1. there was no filling - it was so ingredientless i could see straight through one end to the other *** all 3 tacos were like this 2. stale. really realllllyyyy stale shell 3. expensive - not sure what i payed $18 for 4. and finally to the whisper of meat, lettuce, cheese and tomato that made it into my taco i wonder how long u were left and forgotten about at the back of the prep fridge just to brought out much later because someone wasn't bother to document wastage. Just for reference this is what the Tacos at Bondi beach look like... Fresh, overflowing with ingredients and perfectly spicy. Junction take notes. and yes before anyone asks, i did end up eating the soggy despaired filled crescents... purely out of spite. Twas so hangry it would've been hazardous for all on the road if i drove back to the store #lowiron #badmood
The staff at Guzman and Gomez Bondi Junction are amazing. Every time I order online, they’re always looking out for me and making sure everything’s spot on. You can tell how hard these guys are working — it’s always busy, always pumping, and they still manage to keep the service up and consistent. That kind of effort doesn’t go unnoticed. Massive respect to the whole team. Easily one of the best-run takeout stores around 🙌
Disappointed with Guzman y Gomez Today Normally I order the chicken bowl for $14, but today I was charged an extra 15% surcharge just because it’s a public holiday. That’s $2+ more — just for ordering the same thing I usually get. I get that it's a public holiday, but if your staff are working, that’s your responsibility to pay fair wages — not mine. To make things worse, the portion was ridiculous. I’ve attached a photo: only four pieces of chicken in a chicken bowl. Really? You’re charging extra and giving less? Feels like you’re just taking advantage of the day to make more money while cutting corners on what you're serving. Very disappointing.
