The kids and I have had a few nice meals here. The order was a bit mixed up, it's understandable the order had dietary concerns. The management and team did everything possible to make it right and share some goodwill gestures along the way. I like the food but consistently the team environment and support from management. It mates it a nice place to meet, eat and relax.
Very disappointing experience. Today I ordered a Bowl and a Burrito meal , the rice was not properly cooked. It felt like they had mixed uncooked rice with cooked rice, which completely ruined the overall quality was poor and not enjoyable. I expected much better from GYG. A new GYG had just opened in our area, so our expectations were quite high. We were excited to have a GYG nearby and decided to order takeaway for lunch. Unfortunately, when we got home and opened the food, it was very disappointing. It definitely didn’t meet our expectations. Sadly, we won’t be coming back to this GYG again. It felt like we completely wasted our money.
I just wanted to give a shout-out to Dennis at GYG Gregory Hills. He was incredibly friendly, respectful, and welcoming when taking my order. His customer service was genuinely outstanding and made the whole experience even better. It’s not often you come across service like that, and Dennis is a real credit to the team. 10/10 customer service and I hope he gets the recognition he deserves. Keep up the amazing work, Dennis!
Dear Managers/owners - I would love and gladly give a shout out to Alyssa, Who served me tonight in drive-through. I just wanna point out how much her positive attitude and customer service shined during my experience. I was so Appreciative to experience such great customer service and such great attitude. You can just see that her work ethic is important to her and being kind and positive to her customers is important to her. I brought my son here for dinner as he wanted to try GYG for the first time. The fresh food, the attentive customer service and atmosphere left us both incredibly happy. My son especially appreciated the desserts and colouring-in. Thank you Patrick and GYG, we will be back.
