I just wanted to give a shoutout to Raff at GYG! Even late at night, he provided amazing customer service with such a friendly and positive attitude. He was welcoming, patient, and made the whole experience enjoyable. It's not always easy to stay upbeat during late shifts, but Raff went above and beyond to make customers feel valued. Thanks for the great service, Raff. You're a real asset to the team!
Guzman Y Gomez is one of those places that's perfectly fine if you're after a quick feed, and to be fair, the staff have always been friendly, efficient, and pleasant to deal with. The service side of things is hard to fault. Unfortunately, the food itself is where things start to fall short for me. While it's marketed as fresh Mexican food, I've found the quality to be pretty average considering the prices being charged. The portions aren't particularly generous, and it's difficult to justify the cost when there are better alternatives around. For the money you're spending, I'd expect a bit more flavour, a bit more substance, and a bit more consistency. Nothing is necessarily bad, but nothing really stands out either. This is obviously just my personal opinion, but if I'm craving Mexican food, I'd choose Mad Mex over Guzman Y Gomez every time. I find the food more satisfying, better value for money, and overall a stronger experience. Not a terrible place by any means, and the staff deserve credit for their service, but the food quality and pricing are what stop this from being anything higher than a 3-star experience for me.

Place was getting packed so i ordered online whilst waiting in my car, good atmosphere, a mix of ages, culture & vibe with the music. Food was ready within 5mins, looked like a lot of staff on which was good, cause it was busy & props why food was ready so quickly. Ordered 3 nachos & pork burrito 😋🤗everything was fresh, spicy and tasty. Great customer service, ready in minutes, delish food & good atmosphere, def my fave GYG so far🤑
I must appreciate the energy this place brings in. Last night the $10 deal was going on and it was super busy ,the store was fully packed with the customers. I thought it would be a long wait. But I was wrong, I got my burritos within 5 minutes. And the food tasted amazing. Shoutout to all the crews, especially the cooks, for maintaining the food quality in such a busy hour.
