Had lunch at Mex & Co on a beautiful sunny day in Manly and honestly it was hard to think of a better place to be. Sitting by the water with a margarita in hand and watching the beach while waiting for the food made for such a great afternoon. The Wagyu beef fajita was easily the highlight of the meal. It arrived sizzling hot, smelled incredible and the beef was tender, juicy and packed with flavour. The DIY setup with tortillas, guacamole and salsa made it even more enjoyable. We also shared the tortilla chips and guacamole, salt and pepper squid, chicken tacos and a huge rack of pork ribs that was much bigger than we expected. Everything was fresh, generously portioned and perfect for sharing. The churros were also a great way to finish the meal. The staff were friendly, attentive and helped make the whole experience feel relaxed and welcoming. Between the waterfront views, sunshine, good food and margaritas, this ended up being one of those lunches where you completely lose track of time. Definitely a spot I’d happily return to. Dropped in for lunch and had such a great experience. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed, perfect for spending the afternoon by the beach with good food and drinks. I personally loved the fajitas and churros, while my boyfriend’s favourite was the nachos. The cocktails were also a great addition to our lunch. The service was friendly and attentive throughout, and the upstairs open bar area looked perfect for birthdays, group catch-ups or celebrations. Definitely a spot I’d come back to again.

I couldn't help but leave a Google Review here because I definitely enjoyed our experience here! So as a fan of nachos, the overloaded nachos were such a huge treat! Love the amount of guacamole and sour cream added-- overflowing with goodness. My hubby loved the quesadillas which is his favourite. He finished it and it's a great portion too. The pork ribs were soft and were good as a main -- though honestly, we got so full by the time we reached it. That's a good sign though. We also doubled our jalapeño poppers because they were just creamy and perfectly balanced with the spiciness! The fact that it's next to the beach was a plus. Perfect for heading there for snacks or even a hangout at their rooftop. The vibe was incredible. Service was beautiful. Had a good conversation with their staff, Sam, who made the experience extra memorable by checking in with us from time to time to make sure we are okay and if we needed any help or if we had concerns with the food. Gave good recommendations as well! The combined elements made the experience great! Thank you for this beautiful place by the beach!

Hidden gem located right next to Manly beach. Not only will you have an ocean view, but also the food is yummy. Highly recommended the chicken enchiladas, the marinade is amazing and tastes great. Their tacos are also worth to try, seafood options are the best. Very spacious restaurant and great for group gathering, celebration and other events.

Great ocean view and delicious food! My favourites were the fajitas and the jalapeños, which were packed with flavour and had just the right amount of heat. The beautiful seaside setting made the whole dining experience so relaxing and enjoyable. A perfect place to sit back, enjoy the view, and have a great meal.
