Great food, poor service. The oysters were beautiful, so fresh and sweet. The tacos were small but definitely made us want more! The churros and icecream was lovely. Not too sweet. But the service was so mixed. At first it was good, the lovely lady who was serving us kindly explained each dish and the sauces. However, they told us we only had 45 minutes yet took ages to come and take our order even though we had our hand up waiting. Had to ask twice for our dessert after we were finished because at least we we’re trying to stick to the 45 minute limit they gave us even though they didn’t seem to be adhering to it themselves. The gentleman shoved the churros and icecreams onto our table and said he would come back with spoons in a moment… we finished it because it was melting and they never came back with spoons. Not particularly impressed at all. They weren’t passive aggressive necessarily as we were polite, it was just jarring how different the service quality was in compared to the food.

Sadly I have to say that we felt the tacos were really overpriced for what they are. We ordered the rib-eye taco for $15 and it was just a corn tortilla with two slices of beef on top, no garnish, no cheese, just some salt, nothing else. If you're paying $15 or even $17 for more superior quality beef, you expect much more than that. The waiter was really lovely and made a big effort to make the meal really enjoyable but sadly I wouldn't return

Absolutely loved our experience at Taco + Vino We started with the margaritas, which were honestly 5 stars! We ordered the Wagyu tacos and the Queso Fundido, and both were so delicious; full of flavour, fresh, and beautifully presented. The service was amazing too. Definitely recommend this place… we’ll be back 🙏🏻

I judge a Mexican restaurant by the guacamole and chips - if you can’t get that right you won’t get anything. The chips were stale and broken and the guacamole was average. Most of the tacos are served in flour tortilla instead of corn which was disappointing. They also lather on the chipotle mayo. Pretty basic food. I’d go to mamis in bondi instead if you want actually good Mexican food.

Wonderful service and food. Staff were so helpful when I had to make amendments to the booking, and super friendly in person. We had most of the menu and standouts were the tuna tostada, chorizo, octopus taco and corn side dish. Margaritas were also great!
