We stopped by Aswar Baghdad in Fairfield Heights on a whim. My husband was craving chicken, but the fries were absolutely disgusting. After I had one or two, I threw the whole box out. They tasted revolting. They must have fried other things in the oil, because the chips looked dirty and yellow instead of crisp and white.

I came all the way from Queensland, and Aswar Baghdad was honestly the best recommendation I received. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of authentic flavour. What really stood out was the amazing customer service. The staff were so welcoming, friendly, and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. It was a fantastic experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back whenever I’m in the area. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Iraqi food and outstanding service.

Divine food! First time trying Iraqi food after my friend recommended it. Staff was very friendly and everything was so nice and clean and the food was amazing and so flavourful. 10/10 recommended

Thank you to the cleanest restaurant with the most amazing food. I have been married for 19 years, and my wife has never eaten fish in her life. Today was the very first time she tried it—and she loved it! That made me so happy because now we can order fish together all the time. 😉 Thank you, Aswar Baghdad, for such a wonderful experience and delicious food. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
