Fantastic dinner! The meat, dips and salads especially were delicious. Fattoush and fried cauliflower were exceptional, light and tasty. The restaurant was also visibly extremely clean and well looked after. Will be coming back ๐
Located conveniently not far from Crows Nest Metro station and buses, Jijos is easy to get to. I have been here a few times for lunch and dinner. The food has been consistently good. I enjoy the mixed grill on offer. It is hearty and in fact, good for two. I especially loved the fried cauliflower. The dips are more sour than what i am used to. The staff are friendly and will check with kitchen staff if a specific dietary requirement is highlighted. Seating is decently spaced out and the place is kept clean. Decor wise doesnt stand out for me but works for this space. I think this place is worth checking out.
We had the mixed plates (one meat, one vegetarian) - both were delicious and generous with portions ๐ The restaurant was comfy and perfect for a casual dinner!
Great food and the owners are lovely and obviously care about what they make. I recommend the Chicken Shawarma and garlic dip (and bread!)
Stopped here for lunch and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is casual and the staff were warm and welcoming. We ordered the kafta wrap, mixed grill, falafel, and fattoush salad โ everything was fresh and full of flavour. The falafel, in particular, was a standout: fluffy on the inside and perfectly crispy on the outside. Prices are reasonable too. Thereโs no parking directly on Pacific Highway, but you can park in the Woolies car park just a 4-minute walk away. Highly recommend this place. Weโll definitely be back!
