Every dish was packed with flavour. The only thing I would fault is the knafeh was not baked enough, the kataife was soft and not as crispy. The interior of the restaurant was so beautiful.
It was our first time trying Palestinian cuisine and we were extremely impressed! The service was fantastic and the waitstaff patiently explained the dishes to us. We also ordered the Musakhan (not pictured as we dug straight in) and the chicken maryland was cooked perfectly. We scraped our plates clean and even ordered another knafeh to take home. Giving them a big thank you for the tasty, hearty feed, and we'll definitely be back.
If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! We literally smashed the food. Zatoona is hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve visited. The food is incredibly fresh, authentic, and full of amazing flavor. Every dish is prepared with care, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. What truly makes this place special is the outstanding hospitality. The manager, Bassam, goes above and beyond to make every guest feel like family. His kindness, generosity, and genuine care create an unforgettable dining experience. A special thank you to his daughter, Aya, whose warm smile, professionalism, and friendly attitude make everyone feel welcome from the moment they walk in. Together, they have built a restaurant that is not only known for exceptional food but also for outstanding customer service. If you’re looking for delicious food, generous hospitality, and an atmosphere that feels like home, Zatoona is the place to be. I can’t recommend it highly enough and will definitely be coming back again and again!
One of the best dining experiences in Liverpool! Zatoona serves truly authentic Palestinian food that tastes homemade and full of flavor. Everything we ordered was fresh, delicious and perfectly cooked. The restaurant is very clean and comfortable, and the staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. You can really feel the warmth and hospitality from the moment you walk in. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and service you receive, making it excellent value for money. I will definitely be coming back again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Palestinian cuisine in Liverpool.!
Great restaurant with nice traditional meals. Manager Ashraf served us beyond expectations and was knowledgeable about the cuisines. He had exceptional customer service and sent us complementary dessert to try, you don’t get this type of services nowadays, very happy with their behaviour and also very cosy atmosphere ❤️ highly recommended 👍
