The food was great value and tasted awesome. I had the Laksa. I usually have laksa as my ‘testing’ dish to rank a shop and Mee Noodle Laksa hit my satisfaction, hence 5 stars. I also tried the chicken dry noodles mixed with soy sauce. Another exceptional tasting dish. There was enough sauce, but not overly salty or seasoned. I thought it was nicely balanced together with the vegetables. Will go back again any time for a quick fix lunch or need a take away dinner. The staff is very friendly with good attention to detail.
Was at Ashfield Mall yesterday for a quick lunch and tried the chicken noodle from the shop for the first time. The chicken had a strange, not‑fresh smell, but I thought it might just be the flavour of the soup. I regret not throwing it away because about two hours later I had diarrhoea, and it’s still ongoing today. Really wish I had chosen something else yesterday.
The portions are huge and the soup is so flavorful! It’s super affordable. The girl at the counter was all smiles the whole time and super patient—she handled every request I had. This place is a total hidden gem. I'm gonna be coming here every day from now on!
The hainanese chicken rice is so good. I had it weekly when the Ashfield brand first opened last year when I was still living in the area. The chicken was just so tender and I constantly craved for it. The cherry on top was that the owner was always so nice and friendly for a good chat.
I bought noodles with sweet sour pork. The pork was rock hard. Nearly broke my tooth. I could throw it at the wall and it would break the wall down. The noodles are always nice on a positive note.
