It's an amazing addition to Pakistani restaurants in the area. I loved the food and personalised service they provided to each customer. The ambiance matches the name Dastan. Would highly recommend visiting.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dastaan Pakistan in Mosman offers a refreshing take on Pakistani cuisine, combining authentic flavours with a refined fine dining experience. From the moment we walked in, the elegant ambience and warm hospitality made us feel welcome. The restaurant beautifully showcases the richness of Pakistani culinary traditions while presenting them in a modern and sophisticated setting. We started with the Boneless Fish Pakora, which was perfectly crispy and packed with flavour. The Chapli Kebab was juicy, aromatic, and one of the highlights among the starters. The Tandoori Prawns were cooked beautifully, with a smoky flavour and just the right amount of spice. For mains, the Nihari stood out with its rich, slow-cooked flavours and tender lamb shank that simply melted off the bone. The Haleem was smooth, hearty, and comforting, delivering the traditional taste that many Pakistanis grow up loving. The Malai Boti Handi was creamy and indulgent, with tender chicken cooked in a delicate white gravy that was full of flavour without being overly heavy. The Chicken Biryani was another standout dish, featuring fragrant saffron rice, tender chicken, and perfectly balanced spices. The Plain Naan and Peshawari Naan complemented the curries wonderfully, especially the Peshawari Naan with its subtle sweetness. To finish, we enjoyed the Ras Malai and Gulab Jamun with vanilla ice cream. Both desserts were beautifully prepared and provided the perfect sweet ending to the meal. The traditional chai was also excellent and completed the experience perfectly. Overall, Dastaan is a fantastic addition to Sydney’s Pakistani food scene. The quality of the food, attention to detail, presentation, service, and ambience make it a destination worth visiting. Whether you’re familiar with Pakistani cuisine or trying it for the first time, Dastaan offers a memorable dining experience that celebrates the true flavours of Pakistan. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

Arrived with no expectations but was pleasantly surprised. Great food, lovely service and very relaxed. The restaurant was busy but didn't impact on the experience. Would recommend 👍
