We visited Desi Fusion in Granville and it truly lives up to its name by blending Pakistani street food with desi-Chinese favourites. The place has a strong Lahore street-food inspiration and you can taste that passion in the food. We started with the Anda Shami Kebab Burger, which was pure comfort food. The chicken and lentil patty was flavourful and well-spiced, topped with a perfectly cooked egg, mayo and their special sauce. It had that nostalgic desi anda-shami taste done in a modern burger style. The Chicken Crispy was nicely coated in a southern-style breading, crunchy on the outside and juicy inside. The homemade burger sauce and lettuce balanced it well without overpowering the chicken. The Malai Boti Roll was a standout. Soft bread filled with juicy, tender white chicken chunks, onions and sauces — creamy, mildly smoky and very satisfying. A must-try if you enjoy rich, desi flavours. We also tried the Chicken Shawarma, which was generously filled, well-seasoned and tasted fresh. Proper street-style comfort food. For desi-Chinese, the Chicken Chowmein was well stir-fried with chicken, capsicum, cabbage and spring onions — flavourful without being greasy. The Egg Fried Rice was light, fragrant and paired well with other dishes. The Chicken Manchurian was bold and saucy, with boneless chicken pieces in a spicy, tangy red sauce, served with vegetable fried rice. A classic desi-Chinese dish done right. To finish, we had a Mint Margarita, which was refreshing, Gulab Jamun that was soft and syrupy, and Karak Chai that was strong, warming and perfectly desi. Overall, Desi Fusion is a family-run halal spot serving bold, unapologetic flavours inspired by Lahore’s street food. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the menu has great variety. Definitely worth visiting if you’re craving authentic desi fusion in Sydney. Highly recommended 👍

I had an absolutely disastrous experience. The food was wrong, ice-cold, and of shockingly poor quality. I also have a severe allergy, and if I hadn’t caught it, it could have been life-threatening. On top of that, the guy at the desk is consistently rude—he has no idea how to speak to customers. Whenever we order online, he intentionally messes up the order. Stay far away from this place.” You just said fake reviews how unprofessional you guys are instead apologise you guys are accusing me is this chicken tikka sandwich and first time i ordered this sandwich and see what i got and where did i say i asked for egg sandwich instead giving me lecture better improve your quality

Came on a Monday night, place was empty. Asked for butter chicken & to my surprise he said no butter chicken. The server recommended a chicken shawarma platter, I agreed. It came out and I couldn’t believe it!!? It was so small nothing I imagined when he explained it to us and the chicken tasted like tuna. I think he recommended it because it would be easier for himself to make. My friend had a cake and I asked for a knife he gave it to me and it was still dirty. So unprofessional and unhygienic. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. The tea was okay but also any other restaurant place could make a tea.

My sons and I really enjoyed their pakistani chicken shawarma when they had their stall in Lakemba during the Ramadan nights- their sauce (I think mayo mixed with other spice) was exceptional. However, we went back to Granville a couple of times, but its not the same anymore. The sauce is now sweeter, has a sweet after taste. Pls bring back original sauce!! My friends have also said their sauce has changed ever since moving from Auburn :(

Recently relocated- now in Granville. Much cleaner than before. Tasty food. First bite of Shashlik and nostalgic taste took me back to Karachi!! Our favourite spot for paratha rolls. Few items on the menu are a little pricey, but overall matches the market.
