We had a really lovely experience at Callao. It was an intimate surprise birthday dinner for my partner. We were greeted with warmth and our waiter Sam was great. Explaining the history of the cuisine was interesting and a great introduction to the amazing flavours that were to come. Every dish was so beautifully flavoured and presented. Will definitely be back!
everything about Callao was so impressive! Beautiful atmosphere & decor, food was delicious, came out quickly, & most of all, outstanding service! We were a party of 4, & chose to order an à la carte menu, & we ordered 4 entrees & 4 mains & it turned out to be the perfect amount of food for all of us. The waitresses were all so friendly & attentive, especially our particular waiter for the night Sabrina. I really appreciate the effort they put in into making my graduation celebration dinner special. They congratulated me upon entering, whilst serving dessert & again whilst leaving, this is the first time I’ve seen restaurant waiters be so attentive about the occasion.
Went for the Saturday bottomless brunch and really enjoyed it. Great value with free flow drinks and a solid food menu. The steak was cooked well and full of flavour, and the ceviche was fresh and nicely balanced. Drinks kept coming and the service was attentive without being rushed. The space itself is beautiful with warm lighting and a relaxed but slightly upscale vibe. Good spot for a long brunch with friends. Would come back.
Had an amazing experience at the Callao. We tried the set menu and everything was phenomenal. Every dish had an interesting twist to it which was quite refreshing. The salmon sashimi topped the starters list. For mains we had the miso glazed fish of the day, so juicy and tasty. The dessert was tiramisu but not your usual, coated within avocado icecream. Never tried that one before but it didn't disappoint. The staff were also extremely warm and hospitable. The service was prompt and ambience lively. Would love to visit again.
