Bella Brutta definitely lived up to its reputation. We ordered two pizzas, including the potato pizza with added truffle, which was delicious. The potatoes were perfectly cooked, the crust had a great balance of crispness and chewiness, and the truffle added a rich, earthy aroma that made every bite even more enjoyable. My favorite, though, was the special pizza with roasted pickled cauliflower, hot salami crumble, Parmesan cream, fior di latte, and chives. It was such a creative combination of flavours. The roasted cauliflower added a subtle smokiness with a slight tang from the pickling, while the spicy salami crumble brought just the right amount of heat. The Parmesan cream was smooth and savoury, and the fior di latte gave the pizza a wonderfully creamy finish. Every ingredient complemented the others without overpowering the dish. The pizza base was outstanding light, airy, and slightly charred from the oven, with a flavour that stood well on its own. The atmosphere was lively and relaxed, making it a great place to enjoy good food with friends. Service was friendly and efficient despite the restaurant being busy. Bella Brutta is well worth a visit if you’re looking for inventive pizzas made with high-quality ingredients. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their seasonal specials.

I booked this place for my birthday upon hearing good things about their pizza. In short, I’m pleased with the food there, but what had truly made it an unforgettable night was the service that was beyond what I had expected, especially at this price point. We ordered a starter, a salad and a pizza to share between two. We felt so well taken care of during the night. Water was refilled regularly, the waitress explained the menu, and they gave us a complimentary birthday cannoli. We took away some pizza and when we got home and opened the pizza box, we realised the staff had written a birthday msg inside. That truly made it so special! We were so happy with the service that we gladly tipped them, which is definitely not what we usually do. Thank you to the staff there for delivering a service that is above and beyond! It truly made the whole experience so so enjoyable.

Loved our time at Bella Brutta. It was our second time here and it don’t disappoint. The service is truly excellent. We were given a beautiful glass of bubbles to start. We followed with the burrata and fig salad, the nonnas meatballs and the sausage pizza. Pizza was very spicy but if you like spice, you’ll love it. The potato pizza with guiancale is my personal favourite. Tiramisu a good way to finish the meal. Always a good time at Bella Brutta

Came here after hearing great things about them, and ordered the clam pizza and margherita. On both pizzas, the crust was incredibly light and airy, and the charring was perfect to give it a nice toasted flavour. It was also so thin that it would drip if you didnt fold the slice, but it was also sturdy enough to not get soggy and fall apart. The margherita was great, lots of tomato flavour and freshness from the basil, while also being perfectly balanced with the cheese. The clam pizza was divine, combining a light ocean flavour of the chopped clams with the savouriness of the cheese, acidity from the lemon, heat and sourness from the fermented chilli, and the extra punch from the garlic all add up to an incredible eating experience.

Seriously one of the best tiramisus I’ve had in Sydney, and easily my top three so far. I came to Bella Brutta specifically for the tiramisu, and my god, it absolutely delivered! The texture was exactly what a great tiramisu should be: light, creamy and airy, with beautifully fresh mascarpone and just the right balance of coffee, cocoa and sweetness. Rich enough to feel indulgent, but never heavy. It’s surprisingly hard to find a tiramisu this yummy, so this one was genuinely memorable. The staff were also so warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be back… and next time I might actually order a pizza.
