Friendly service which is on point from beginning to end. We recommend booking ahead prior as the place does get packed, even on Friday nights. You can request indoor dining upon arrival, as did we (they will randomly place you outdoors in the cold if you don’t request otherwise). We ordered 3 pizzas (Versace, Margherita and Chilli Crab). Personally, I enjoyed the Versace and its toppings. The other two were just average to me. The pizza bases were light and fluffy which I enjoyed. They serve chilli oil on the side upon request if you like. I did not like the Tiramisu. It was sloppy, wet at the base and not well presented. We also ordered the Beirut Spritz and the Aranciata. Both were alright too. Nothing spectacular. Overall, a crowded and overhyped place that is too loud for my liking. I may visit again but there are better Italian dining spots out there without going out all the way to Balmain.
I’ve been to Gigi Pizzeria at least ten times now, and every single visit has delivered a fantastic experience. The pizza is truly unique, and I absolutely love the combination of toppings on offer. The classics are all there, but the innovative flavours are just as impressive and always hit the mark. The Mac & G is simply unbelievable! A special thank you to the team for always making us feel so welcome and valued. We keep coming back for a reason and can’t wait for our next visit.
Hands down the best pizza I’ve eaten anywhere in the world, and that’s saying something given I’ve been fortunate enough to eat at some of the most renowned pizzerias globally. The level of innovation, flavour, and texture is extraordinary. Every bite delivers something unique, making it a genuinely memorable, almost life-changing dining experience. To top it all off, the service and hospitality were exceptional. The team made us feel incredibly welcome and elevated the entire experience. Daniel is an absolute Gentleman that personally went out of his way to make our experience even better. I can’t recommend Gigi’s highly enough. A true world-class pizza destination.
The pizza is AMAZING. I wanted to give 4.5 stars but couldn’t figure out how. This was our second visit. We were surprised at how long the pizza took this time because it was very fast last time and that they came one at a time with 5-10 minutes between arrivals. I had to ask about the last one because it took so long (At least 30 minutes most likely longer).
Gigi's in Balmain is an absolute stand out! From the moment we arrived, Ahmad's service was outstanding, so professional, so attentive. The pizza was a true masterpiece, the dough was cooked to perfection, every bite was a dream. The salad was a crisp, refreshing delight, and that Shiraz paired perfectly. The dessert, oh my goodness, each bite was pure indulgence, I couldn't stop eating! Big shout out to Ahmad and Daniel for creating an unforgettable night. This place is a must visit ✨️
