The story started last Thursday, when I was walking back to uni after dinner at Coogee Beach. The lovely guy from this place asked me, “Would you like a slice of pizza?” I was way too full that day, but I remember thinking, I definitely have to come back and try it sometime. Today, after a bike ride with my friend, we were absolutely starving, so we finally came here for pizza. I ordered the funghi and the prosciutto, and both were amazing. We all agreed that this is a place we’d come back to many, many times. I especially loved the mushrooms on the funghi pizza — they were seriously so good. The staff is incredibly warm and friendly, and the whole place feels so cozy and welcoming. It’s new, but everything about it — the decor, the atmosphere, the food… — is just perfect. Honestly, this is the kind of little local spot I dream of finding. Highly, highly recommend!
Only just opened but already a hidden gem in the east! High quality ingredients and base. Impressed by the pizza despite the old oven. Just right amount of toppings, evenly spread. Friendly owner hustling to bring something different. Will be back to try more. Look forward to supporting local and hope others feel the same!
Genuinely some of the best pizza I’ve had. Came with my dad and we got the Potato and the Prosciutto. Potato had an amazing flavour, and their homemade chilli oil elevates it. Prosciutto was also incredible, made traditionally, and the crust was divine. They even gave us some extra mozzarella to spread. Owner is always super chill, and he’s focused on making sure the pizza comes out quick and perfect. Hit this place up with your friends or family if you get the chance to, this is a proper underrated gem of Coogee 🙏🏻
Yum pizza, very good base and sauce and the Parmesan on top smelled good on the way home I couldn’t wait to dig in didn’t get a full picture lol
