The food is really nice and it reminds me of my Italian friends home cooking especially the lasagna. The pizza is superb as well, great proportion, and tastes authentic! We tried and ordered margherita and napolitana. The staff is welcoming and friendly too! Really love this place. Thank you!

We are on a quest to find the best, most tastiest pizza in all of the world and this store is … a curious study in unfulfilled promise. An establishment that presents with the outward vestiges of rustic Italian charm, yet falters in the very foundational tenets that distinguish the sublime from the merely serviceable. Dissecting the triumvirate of pizza excellence, dough, sauce, and cheese at Il Cugino Pizzeria, that scrutiny reveals a composition that is, regrettably, more perfunctory than profound. The dough, that sacred substratum upon which all greatness is built, was conspicuously deficient. Though commendably thin and exhibiting a modest crispness, it betrayed an underdeveloped structure. Its interior punctuated by air pockets symptomatic of insufficient kneading and fermentation. One seeks that alchemical balance. Elasticity, depth, and a whisper of tang derived from time and technique. Here, one encountered instead a base that was merely a vessel, not a contributor. The sauce, equally, was an exercise in restraint to the point of anonymity. Devoid of aromatic complexity or herbaceous vitality, it lingered as a bland tomato veneer, uninfused and unintegrated. A truly distinguished sauce is not assembled in haste. It is cultivated, allowed to amalgamate into what the Italians might call familia. A harmonious convergence of ingredients. This essential philosophy appeared absent. The cheese, perhaps the most egregious disappointment, offered only a textural utility. Stringy, molten, yet bereft of the creamy salinity and nuanced richness that characterise a superior mozzarella. It bound the pizza, yes, but did not elevate it. Turning to the toppings, the Americana revealed a pepperoni curiously devoid of its namesake spice. Lacking the piquant assertiveness that should animate the palate. The ham, meanwhile, possessed an uncharacteristically firm and processed quality, suggestive of economy rather than artisanal selection. The mushroom variant fared marginally better in distribution, yet the produce itself lacked the meaty depth one anticipates, instead conveying a certain pedestrian quality. To its credit, the pizza emerged from the oven with a pleasing warmth and a visually inviting composition. There was a gentle crunch upon first bite, and a fleeting satisfaction that accompanies any competently assembled meal. Yet, beyond this initial engagement, the experience plateaued. There was no crescendo, no lingering resonance upon the palate. No moment that compels one to pause and acknowledge culinary artistry. At approximately $18 for a medium offering, the value proposition rests in a middling equilibrium. Neither offensive nor compelling. One is fed, certainly, but not inspired. This is a pizza that resides firmly within the domain of the ordinary. Edible, acceptable, yet devoid of distinction. It is not a creation that invites return, nor one that incites the senses into celebratory delight. Our score is reflective not of failure, but of a profound and palpable absence of excellence.

Came here for Saturday lunch and everyone was so nice. Got 2 medium pizzas, perfectly cooked, plenty of toppings and great taste. We’ll definitely be coming back again.

OMG. I’ve been visiting this wonderful family restaurant for about 35 years. It is my go to pizza place having grown up in ‘little Italy’ in Sydney. I’ve travelled the world and eaten pizza, yes in Italy too, and this for me is No.1. The base, crisp to the bite, soft on the pull, flavoursome and then the tastebuds are rewarded with the toppings…it’s been several years since I’ve visited and the consistency of quality from so many years ago brings back memories of my hungry youth! The Continental is my go to…and there are so many more! The family, generations, still running it. Amazing friendliness. Anyone commenting otherwise, especially re the last comment, is but a fleeting take away driver who doesn’t listen to feedback re how these amazing pizzas should travel. They need due care 🙂. My only constructive feedback, and this doesn’t detract from my full score, is…the world needs more places like this, so do promote yourselves- you are very great at what you do. Thank you again for my many years of my joyful pizza experience.
