The best pizza in Sydney! The staff is always kind and attentive — it’s our go-to place for a truly authentic Italian pizza.

The pizzas were absolutely delicious and the tiramisu was one of the best tiramisus I’ve ever had. However, the service was very questionable and not very attentive. Given there are so many other Italian restaurants in walking distance; it would be very beneficial for wait staff to be more customer focused and less of this laissez-faire attitude. Even though the food was really good, I’m unlikely to return to this venue.

Have not been back to the restaurant since they moved to Darling St. Went today and pizza was still as good. Thin crust which makes it easy to eat as the size of the pizzas were quite big.

Rosso Pomodoro truly impressed us! The pizzas were not only delicious and crispy, but the service was also exceptional. Our dinner with a group turned out to be an excellent decision, as the restaurant easily accommodated all of us. The pizzas were flawlessly cooked, boasting a no-frills, down-to-earth woodfire flavor. The appetizers provided a great variety to choose from, and we concluded our meal with indulgent pistachio tiramisu and calzone, perfect comfort food for a chilly winter evening. We even sampled each dessert item, and every dish was a delectable delight. As a pistachio enthusiast, I adored the pistachio tiramisu, though the calzone, while sweet and satisfying for those with a sweet tooth, felt a bit heavy. The pizzas truly stole the show with their thin, crispy crust that avoided any sogginess. With a plethora of authentic Italian options, Rosso Pomodoro left us spoiled for choice, and we appreciated the absence of unconventional toppings like ham and pineapple.

I visited here yesterday with my Italian friend. The ambience was nice and staffs were kind. The dishes were hit the spot. It’s my first time to try arancini, the taste seemed to yummy fried rice ball. Also pizzas which was main menu were so good. It looked brick oven pizzas and the dough was soft-chewy. I loved it. After we finished our meal, I took leftover. It was priceless time to eat out with my loved mate :)
